Spring is in the air! We love this time of year as it is the time we get to plant our garden. There is nothing better than being able to grow your own organ-ic fruits and vegetables. We love eating organic because we know that it means there are no chemicals or pesticides in our food. Color the picture of us as we focus on gardening! But I am going to power through, finish my math homework, ace my spelling test tomorrow, and then pack the sunscreen so I can enjoy my vacation! I hope you guys have a great Spring Break as well! Hello hello, Spring Break is finally here! Some of my classmates are going on trips to the beach, but my family doesn t go on a Spring Break vacation every year, as travel and hotels for all of us can be pretty expensive. However, you won t catch me pouting around the house, because I ll be at the public library. It s great because it s only a short walk from my house, and there are more books than I ll be able to get through in a decade, let alone a week. I ve already checked out three books, and you can bet I ll be checking out more. I love to read, and if you don t, a Spring Break at home is a perfect time to learn to love reading! Hello fellow OrganWise Guys Club Members, I write to you from a hotel room at the beach. Unfortunately, I am not actually outside enjoying the beach with my family, as I got sunburned. I know how important sunscreen is, but after getting sunscreened up in the morning, I thought I d be all set for the day. Boy was I wrong! It is important to reapply at least every few hours, if not more often than that. I know it may seem annoying, wasting precious minutes at the beach when you could be in the ocean or throwing a Frisbee around, but trust me, you d much rather take that time when you can. Otherwise, you could end up like me, stuck in a hotel applying aloe vera to your sunburn. That, my friends, is not a fun way to spend Spring Break. Until we meet again, Sir Rebrum Frisbee is a great way to get exercise!

For older kids! Hola amigos, We are back from Sping Break. It was nice to be away from school for the week, and now, we have under two months of school left. It is muy importante (Spanish for very important ) to keep ahead on your school work as the year comes to a close. We ve been working hard all year long, so don t let all your hard work go to waste! Keep studying, doing your homework, and acing your tests! Also, make sure and do some stretching at home. That really has nothing to do with your school work, but since we re in the home stretch of school, it just seems appropriate. Your muscles will thank you! Well hello everyone! In case you haven t heard, the Foods of the Month for April are nuts and fresh beans. Nuts are a great food to snack on, especially when you re watching some baseball. And fresh beans, well you can eat them as a side (green beans with your grilled chicken dinner), or a little snack (fresh edamame is a real treat). No matter how you eat em, just make sure you do! Your OrganWise Guys will thank you! Talk to you soon, Peri Peri Stolic (the intestine) I am nuts about nuts!

Hello hello, This weekend was full of storms, which meant lots of rain, thunder, and lightning. While it was a bummer that playing outside with my friends wasn t happening, the storms did allow me to jump back into my library books. After my speed-reading over Spring Break, I had to slow down, as I now had school and homework to get to. But this weekend was once again filled with stories of adventure and swashbuckling (I m reading a book about pirates). Between chapters, I made sure to do ten jumping jacks or push-ups to get some physical activity in. Just because it s raining doesn t mean you can t have a fun day! Hi there, For Take Your Daughter to Work Day, some of my classmates went with their parents to their jobs, and many teachers brought their own kids to work. My teacher brought her three-year-old daughter, Josie. It was so much fun! During recess, several of us played with Josie on the swings and jungle gym. She was so smart and well behaved. While I was practicing counting with her, she made me think of something. We learn everything in stages. For Josie, counting to ten is quite the accomplishment. It was for all of us at one time as well! But now, we are learning how to do real math problems, and there are times when it seems like the hardest thing in the world. But, then again, so was counting to ten. Watching Josie reminded me that I need to take a deep breath and remember that I m not going to always understand everything perfectly the first time I learn it. It takes practice and time, just like when I was a baby learning to count. Keep breathing! Windy Look at her go! Windy (the lungs) Wow Josie! Windy (the lungs) This is fun! 2016 The OrganWise Guys Inc. The OrganWise Guys and all related characters are registered trademarks of The OrganWise Guys Inc.

Hey everybody This weekend was jam-packed with fun! I had a baseball game, which we won. I caught two pop flies and hit a double. Then, I had a birthday party that night where we played hide and seek, capture the flag, and even a few video games at the end of the night. On Sunday, my family had a picnic in the backyard. So simple and so fun! After that, we all went to the park and threw the Frisbee around with some family friends. After that fun weekend, I am energized and ready for another great week of school! I hope you are ready for another successful school week as well! Have a great day! Hardy Heart Hardy Heart I got it... I got it! Hardy Heart
