At 12:30 pm we meet at the hotel for a light lunch and intro meeting followed by a warm up ride in the area. The valley is wide and open, the air clean with the scent of flowers, and you ll enjoy fantastic views of the Ortles mountain and ancient castles while we ride in a magic alpine atmosphere. Most of the itinerary is on country roads, often closed to traffic, winding through apple orchards, pastures and forests: this is the best location to start our family tour at the crossroads between Austrian and Italian culture. Arrive, relax, and appreciate the pleasures... At Hotel Rossl you will find all the comforts to help you feel right at home from the moment you step foot inside. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and the hotel features also a pool and spa. A relaxing day through the wide lower Venosta valley heading downhill to the regional capital of Bolzano. Take an optional detour to enjoy the villages of Appiano and Caldaro and in the afternoon take time to wander around the bustling town center of Bolzano with a local guide. If time allows, other activities today include an extraordinary visit to the labyrinth of the Kränzel winery, a marvelous manor with huge vineyards and fields on 10 acres: a lot of fun to get lost in this natural environment, for kids and adults. Other possible visit is to the Medieval Roncolo Castle located on a rocky spur near Bolzano. A relaxing and unforgettable holiday in South Tyrol awaits you in the heart of Bolzano s historical center, at the Luna Mondschein Park Hotel. A stylish property, a stunning park, a spa and the extraordinary Dolomite Mountains in the immediate vicinity: what traveller could wish for more? We take a cable car from Bolzano to reach the Renon Plateau, which we then traverse through wide fields and splendid forests, with a view on the Catinaccio, Rosengarten, and Latemar ranges of the western Dolomites. On our way back an unforgettable experience awaits us: our first Ciclismo Classico picnic in Oberbozen in the company of beautiful Avelignesi horses and Tibetan lamas. In the afternoon visit the Archaeological Museum that houses Otzi, the 5600 year-old mummy found nearby in Val Senales, then celebrate together with our first wine tasting sampling some local vintages!
