At 12:30 pm we meet at the hotel for a light lunch and intro meeting followed by a warm up ride in the area. The valley is wide and open, the air clean with the scent of flowers, and you ll enjoy fantastic views of the Ortles mountain and ancient castles while we ride in a magic alpine atmosphere. Most of the itinerary is on country roads, often closed to traffic, winding through apple orchards, pastures and forests: this is the best location to start our family tour at the crossroads between Austrian and Italian culture. DAY 4 LOOP TO LAKE CALDARO Daily Mileage - 25/40 miles Slowly savor a long, flat loop ride past vineyards, orchards, rivers and the lovely Lake Caldaro on the Ciclopista del Sole (bike path of the sun). We enjoy lunch on the lake and have the opportunity to swim and also take a ride on a paddle boat in its clean water, before our last dinner in Bolzano. INSURANCE, TERMS & CONDITIONS Insurance Ciclismo Classico will not assume responsibility or liability for any loss or damage of personal effects or for any injury or loss during the duration of the tour. Therefore, we highly recommend that you obtain travel insurance. Information on travel insurance will be sent to you via email once trip deposit is received. We recommend MH Ross, but travelers may choose the insurance carrier of their choice. Cancellations and Refunds All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing as soon as possible to Ciclismo Classico. Exceptions to their cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather or personal emergencies. There is no refund for unexpectedly leaving a trip early or arriving late. The purchase of short-term travel insurance policy is strongly recommended.
