SD 2018 is going to be one of the best SD s we have ever convened. We are back in a changed Chicago, a city that now has the connecting hotels, arena, and convention center to stage a wonderful convention. So many of you liked Rosemont because of the close hotels, hotels in close proximity to our meeting rooms, hotels with excellent rates, and an area that created our own convention Ummah (community). We will have all of this in the new McCormick Place Convention District. Since our last Chicago SD convention at the Hilton Downtown and UIC Center in 2013 (in 2015 we were in our cities), the McCormick Place convention district has grown and acquired new connecting properties. In February we will be at: 1. The brand new Marriott Marquis Hotel (host) that connects to McCormick Place, the Hyatt McCormick, as well as the new Wintrust Arena, our SD Sunday venue, 2.
