4 Tips of the Month - Annotations for map windows? 1. Go under Insert / New Annotations 2. Under Style, define the colors and font of the text as well as the colors of frame. 3. Under Settings push any data from your project and the name of the object will be taken as default. The text will be positioned at the approximate center with X, Y and Z. 4. For multiple objects the icon Multi drop in the table should be selected. 5. Both X, Y and Z can be modified as well as the name of the object can be manually overwritten or can be copy / paste from Excel. Setting the Angle value manually will rotate the tex t. 6. In a map window select the Annotation and visualize each object. You can move the object and the new position will be updated in the table. 7. By selecting the white arrow and holding Ctrl + Shift, you can rotate each text manually so it fellow a fault direction for example. 4/8
