use case example: FMS data crosscheck allows to identify entry errors/differences. Access to aircraft data is key. FMS entries can be checked with the data provided in the EFF, the Loadsheet and the Performance calculation application. also addresses AFM restrictions
use case example: EFB hosted Flight Profile application reuses functionality already implemented for FMS - on ground, FPO receives flight plan and atmospheric data from the EFF briefing package, similar to the FMS - triggered by FMS request, updated data is retrieved from the UAD provider (e.g. flight planning system) - filtered data for up to 4 altitudes is sent to the FMS (ACARS - 3.5kB) - full data package for 12 altitudes is sent to the FPO (primarily MIAM IP, MIAM ACARS backup - <3kB)
