Search and Rescue Course COPECO GRUPO MILITAR FUERZA TAREA BRAVO SOTO CANO US NASA, through its representative Angel Cases Jr., sent a letter of acknowledgment to the Central American Corporation for Air Navigation Services (COCESNA), in particular to the CENAMER CONTROL CENTRE, for their collaboration and highly professional support to NASA and the STS- 133 space shuttle mission. The STS-133 mission (From left to right) Mission specialists Alvin Drew, Nicole Stott, Steve Bowen and Michael Barratt, commander Steve Lindsey and pilot Eric Boe. Photo by NASA STS-133 commander Steve Lindsey, pilot Eric Boe and mission specialists Alvin Drew, Steve Bowen, Michael Barratt and Nicole Stott delivered a new module and an external storage platform to the international space station, together with equipment and supplies. During the almost 9 days that the Discovery space shuttle stayed at the station, Bowen and Drew made two space walks to conduct maintenance work and to install new components. 13

Discovery has flown more missions than any other carrier definitely, more than any other space ship. After 38 missions and more than 5,600 trips around the earth, the Discovery has sent satellites like the Hubble space telescope into orbit, and sent the Ulises probe robot on its way to the sun. It was the first shuttle to join the Russian Mir space station, and delivered the Japanese Kibo laboratory to the international space station. It has been the first shuttle to venture into uncharted territory on several occasions, and is about to do it again: Following the STS- 133 mission, Discovery will be the first in the shuttle fleet to retire. THANK YOU 14
