After all the crazy snow and ice we finally have Spring! I hope everyone is enjoying Spring Break! Once our Aggies return to campus the days will fly by and it will be summer before we know it. March is a busy time for Collin County Aggie Moms. Our monthly General Meeting will NOT be held on the third Monday as usual. Instead we invite you to Round Up some friends and family and join us at our Spring FUNdraiser - the Howdy Rowdy Round Up on Friday evening March 27 th. Enjoy a Catered Meal, Cash Bar, Silent Auction, Incredible Edibles, a performance from The Aggie Wranglers, Dance to the tunes of CJ the DJ and try your luck at the Wine Pull. This is a great opportunity to purchase Raffle Tickets for a Cruise of your choice or a Diamond Aggie Ring Wrap. You certainly do not want to miss it! Be sure to buy your tickets in advance! Thank you to all the ladies who have put in countless hours of planning and preparing for this fabulous event. All the proceeds of our Fundraising go toward scholarships and financial contributions to campus organizations at Texas A&M University. Our last Fundraiser will be the fabulous Aggie Moms Boutique during Parents Weekend in April. It is time to submit scholarship applications! Collin County Aggie Moms will award scholarships to both new and returning students. Tell your Aggies and soon to be Aggies to apply. Big Event is March 28 th. As Aggies in College Station offer a day of service in their community, Collin County Aggie Moms have the opportunity to give back to their local community by working at Frisco Family Services Resale Store. It is a joy and a privilege to show Aggie Spirit by participating in Big Event. Help others and give something back. I guarantee you will discover that while public service improves the lives and the world around you, its greatest reward is the enrichment and new meaning it will bring your own life. Arnold Schwarzenegger Thanks and Gig Em, Barbara Murphy Vanikiotis 81 Mom of Nick 14 & Katie 16 NEXT GENERAL MEETING: Monday, April 27th In case you re wondering There is no General Meeting in March since we have the Howdy Rowdy Round-Up on Friday, March 27th.
