KLAIPEDA GATEWAY TO THE EUROPEAN MARKET

Transcription:

The Escuela Sindical de Formación Melchor Botella is a non-profit organization that manages the training of all the people who belong or are related to the Intersindical Valenciana. In these collaborate ten labour unions from Valencian Country, with a total of about 18.000 affiliates. But the Intersindical Valenciana is open to the participation of all the people who be involved in an assembly, society project, fair and just. 1

A SCHOOL OF TRADE UNIONS The labour unions that make up the ESFMB belong to different sectors, from education area (STEPV) to metallurgical industry (STM), health field (IS), administration (STAS, CAT) as well as numerous other sectors such as public transport (TUC), including retirees are represented in our union. That way we have access a large business field to host the VET students from all Europe. In addition, our union nature allows the assistants, to know first hand the working conditions as well as the legislation that rules the collective agreements and everything that workers need to know for optimal working conditions. Our union, in addition, is especially sensitive to the most disadvantaged groups and to the assistance to people at risk of social exclusion. That's why the ESFMB, look that the training actions are free or at the lowest cost, whenever possible. 2

A EUROPEAN SCHOOL Since the creation of the Erasmus + program, the ESFMB has only increased its participation in different actions that have led it to carry out projects with different European countries (Portugal, Italy, Denmark, Ireland, Malta, Turkey, Greece and others with which are in the process of negotiating agreements such as France, Germany or Polinia). Thanks to this, more than 500 people (students and teachers) have been able to participate in European programs such as: (2013) European project: VETPRO: Leonardo Da Vinci; Portugal; (2014) K2 project: Turkey, Greece, Bulgari, Germany (2014) ERASMUS+. KA1 - Mobility of people for learning reasons - Germany, United Kingdom, Italy and Portugal (2015) ERASMUS+. KA1 - Learning and working in Europe, Malta, Italy and Portugal; (2015) ERASMUS+. A EUROPEAN SCHOOL Erasmus +, the program of the European Union to support training, youth and sports in Europe has a budget of more than 14,000 million Euros. It offers study opportunities, experience acquisition and volunteering to more than 4 million Europeans. The ESFMB participates in different European training programs. To this end, it has signed participation agreements with different centres in the Valencian Country, with which it has created a consortium whose main purpose is participation in the Erasmus + actions. Due to the difficulty, in some centres, to participate in projects such as the small number of students willing to travel, the number of procedures to be carried out, the difficulties in finding companies abroad, etc., the ESFMB proposed the creation of a consortium of Institutes that will manage the program. Currently the institutes that are part of the consortium are distributed throughout the Valencian Community, both in Alicante, Castellón and Valencia: I.E.S. CONSEL- LERIA, I.E.S. MASSAMAGRELL, I.E.S. MARIA IBARS, CIPFP AUSIAS MARCH, I.E.S. NÚM1.JÁVEA (ALICANTE), I.E.S. ALMUSSAFES, I.E.S. L'ALMADRAVA, I.E.S. LUIS GARCÍA BERLANGA, I.E.S. XIMEN D'URREA, I.E.S. SERPIS, IES MARIA IBARS, I.E.S. MASSAMAGRELL, I.E.S. MATILDE SALVADOR. 5

A VALENCIAN SCHOOL Valencia is the third largest city in Spain. With nearly 800,000 inhabitants in the city, it exceeds one million inhabitants if we count the city and the bordering localities, what is called the Gran Valencia. The location of the ESFMB is unbeatable. We are located in one of the regions with the most tourist attraction in the world with more than 24 million tourists accounted in 2016. Much of this attraction is due to its climate that does not exceed 30º in summer, rarely reaching 0º in winter. Tourism generates an important part of the Valencian economy for which reason we have a wide range of training centres and companies dedicated to the sector. El País Valencia has great economic potential. The largest number of containers in the Mediterranean pass through the port. In them we find goods from around the world, many of which are marketed directly in the Valencian Country and others are destined for the industries that occupy nearly 400,000 people. The Ford factory in the automotive sector is the centre of an industrial megapolis with a large number of satellite companies. The footwear industry in Alicante and ceramics in Castellón are also relevant. 6

A VALENCIAN SCHOOL Valencian lands have millenarian culture cited by Greek geographers in Homeric legends. Valencia, its capital hosts from vestiges of its Roman past to the most avant -garde buildings. Known worldwide are his cave paintings model of Levantine art. Its traditions are patrimony of the humanity like the mystery of Elche, the procession of the Marededeu de la Salut in Algemesí or the Tribunal de las Aguas and the Fallas in the very city of València. It also has a great landscape richness that goes from the lake of Albufera to the high cliffs of the Alicante or Castellón mountain. Its beaches receive numerous blue flags every year and are crowded every summer by tourists from all over the world, although when you can most enjoy them, it is outside these stations since the bath is possible from May to October. Of its gastronomy we cannot fail to mention the universal paella that is mixed here with a very important variety of baked rice dishes, hot or dry. But this description would be incomplete if one of its best-preserved treasures was not cited: its language, a variety of Catalan in which universal works such as the poems by Ausias March or Tirant lo Blanch were written. 7

A WELCOMING SCHOOL ACCOMODATION The ESFMB offers the reception and accommodation of the participants at the moment of their arrival. Once here, we proceed to the transfer and accommodation in an apartment, hotel or residence. The accommodations (except the hotel) are equipped with necessary appliances and kitchenware and are fully furnished. Each participant is entitled to a bed in a double room. In the first hours of the stay, a brief welcome meeting was held between ESFMB staff and the participants, this allows a first acquisition of information about different aspects of life in Valencia. VET When necessary or as part of the project, the practices give the opportunity to have an experience of work training in different areas related to the curriculum vitae and personal aspirations. The training period includes collaboration in companies, organizations, public or private entities in areas such as: Business Administration Accounting, Administration... Human resources. Marketing, sales, public relations, communications. Computing, Multimedia. Web design. International Cooperation, EU Projects. Tourism, Eco-tourism, hotels and restaurants. Heritage, Art and Culture. Volunteering and Social Assistance 8

A WELCOMING SCHOOL LANGUAGE COURSES Before starting the courses, the participants will have to undergo an oral and written test in order to determine the level of knowledge that each one has and the director of studies of the course will select the level appropriate to the needs and competences of the beneficiaries. The intensive course offers the following levels: ENGLISH SPANISH CATALAN A1 A1 A1 A2 A2 A2 B1 B1 B1 B2 B2 B2 C1 C1 C1 C2 C2 C2 The content of the courses depends on the levels of knowledge and in general they include: Grammar, written and oral vocabulary. Videos and trailers of films, recordings and conversation. Oral comprehension. Simulation of job interviews. At the end of the courses the participants receive a certificate from the ESFMB that includes the duration of the course and the level of competence reached. 9
