We look forward to hosting your next event! Impressive Hannaford Hall boasts comfortable auditorium seating for 512, with a stage, fully built-in audio visual equipment and lighting. This space can also accommodate receptions, breaks and exhibit space in the spacious lobby and mezzanine with open ceiling and natural lighting. Conveniently located just off I-295 and attached to the parking garage on the USM Portland campus, the Abromson Center offers eight classrooms designed to fit every need. These rooms feature state-of-the art audio-visual equipment, white boards, and flip charts. You can also request that an A/V tech be on hand to ensure a successful presentation. These rooms can be combined to make one large classroom. n Likewise upstairs, Rooms 214 and 215, lined with windows and natural lighting, each accommodating 20 to 60, can be combined into one large classroom. n Overlooking campus and Deering Oaks park, Rooms 213 and 216 are bright corner rooms and each comfortably hold 30 to 60 people. These rooms are perfect for medium-sized classes and conferences. n Rooms 212 and 217, each accommodating 12 to 20 people, can be the perfect setting for board meetings and small private dining events. This set up is perfect for instructive meetings or presentations. Optimal seating Most often used for meetings with both small group interaction and main presenters or audiovisual at the front of the room. In this setting all attendees face forward. This setup can work for all sized groups with four people per table.
Banquet Rounds Theater Used most often for banquets and dining, where working space is not needed. This set up can work for all sized groups with eight people per table. Used for one to four hour meetings, when writing tables are not needed. Optimal seating capacity: 20 100 people per room. Pods Classroom Style 1 Groups of two rectangular tables, configured to maximize working space, collaboration and group participation with the facilitator(s). Tables are set at angles so that no back is facing the main speaker. Optimal seating capacity: 5 50 Used primarily for educational settings or lecture type meeting.
