CLARK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT The new passenger terminal building broke ground on 20 December 2017, only six months after NEDA Board approval Designed to accommodate 8 million passengers annually Clark airport registered an all-time high 1.5 million passengers in 2017

BICOL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT PH s most scenic airport Started construction after 11 years of delay 70% complete as of May 2018 Can accommodate 2 million passengers annually.

NIGHT RATING OF AIRPORTS DOTr targets to equip all 42 airports nationwide with night-landing capabilities From only 15, we now have 20 night-rated airports. In 2017, 4 airports were night-rated: Legazpi, Roxas, Dumaguete, and Caticlan This 2018, 4 more airports are targeted to be completed: Naga, Dipolog, Cotabato, and Cauayan. Tuguegarao was recently night-rated. By 2022, DOTr targets to equip all 42 airports nationwide with night-landing capabilities

PNR CLARK RAILWAY 107-km rail line that will connect Tutuban - Clark Pre-construction activities for Phase 1 started in January 2018. The actual construction is targeted to start in the 4th quarter of 2018 Phase 1 of the project is a 38-km. segment from Tutuban to Malolos, Bulacan. PNR BICOL RAILWAY A 653-km rail line that will run from Manila, Batangas, Laguna to Matnog, Sorsogon Phase 1 (Commuter Rail Segment) from Manila to Los Baños, Laguna is set for construction in 3Q 2018. The Long Haul segment picks up from Los Baños and runs through Batangas, Quezon and the Bicol provinces of Camarines Sur and Albay to Sorsogon

METRO MANILA SUBWAY The first subway of the country is set for groundbreaking on 4Q 2018 A 35-km line that will run from Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City to NAIA in Pasay City On 13 Nov 2017, the Exchange of Notes was signed between the Governments of Philippines and Japan. The Loan Agreement was signed last 16 March 2018 Exchange of Notes Partial Operability by 1 st Quarter of 2022

The first railway in Mindanao MINDANAO RAILWAY Consists of 1,532 circumferential and spur lines Phase 1 (Tagum Davao Digos) is a 102-km rail line that will have 8 stations and a depot in Tagum. Travel time will be reduced from 3.5 hours to 1.3 hours

TAGUIG INTEGRATED TERMINAL EXCHANGE An intermodal facility that will provide commuters from Laguna and Batangas seamless interconnectivity going to Metro Manila Broke ground on 17 January 2018, and targeted to be completed on the 2nd quarter of 2020

NORTH INTEGRATED TERMINAL EXCHANGE An intermodal facility that will provide commuters from the northern part of Luzon seamless interconnectivity going to Metro Manila On 17 April 2018, the DOTr and North Luzon Express Terminal Inc signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the construction of North ITX in Bocaue, Bulacan.

PORT MODERNIZATION Improvements in our ports nationwide are continuously being done Includes: construction of back-up area, increasing berth and RORO facilities to improve the operational and cargo handling capacities of ports A total of 133 port projects nationwide are currently undergoing implementation

Will handle all foreign containerized cargo complementing the Cebu Baseport Expected to accommodate 14,400 TEUs by 2022 (7,373 TEUs as of 2016 Construction is expected to commence by July 2018 and the port will be operational by 2022.

DAVAO SASA PORT Includes the Upgrading of General Cargo Berth and Construction of Back-up Area Includes the Construction of Wharf for Rail Mounted Gantry (RMG) Crane Phase 1: (Mar. 2018 Aug. 2019) Phase 2: (Sept. 2019 Feb. 2021) PORT OF DAVAO

MACTAN-CEBU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT World s Friendliest Resort Airport Inaugurated last 07 June 2018 It increased passenger capacity of MCIA to 12 million passengers annually

NEW BOHOL (PANGLAO) AIRPORT PH s first eco-airport and utilizes green and sustainable structures and technologies 87.62% complete as of 31 May 2018 Set to open this 2018 Ongoing construction It can accommodate 2 million passengers annually

COMMUNICATIONS NAVIGATION SURVEILLANCE/ AIR TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT CNS/ATM was formally inaugurated by Pres. Duterte on 16 January 2018. The technology will make airspace safer, minimize flight delays and improve over-all travel experience. The project included the installation of additional 10 radars covering 100% of PH airspace.

PUERTO PRINCESA AIRPORT The new terminal was inaugurated in May 2017. It can accommodate 1.9 million passengers annually.

PARAÑAQUE INTEGRATED TERMINAL EXCHANGE An intermodal facility that will provide commuters from Cavite seamless interconnectivity going to Metro Manila 91.54% completion as of 09 June 2018 Target date of completion is in July 2018 Actual construction

EASTERN TRANSPORT TERMINAL An effort to decongest EDSA, the Eastern Transport Terminal will be located across SM Marikina. It aims to remove 1,000 buses plying in EDSA.

CAVITE GATEWAY TERMINAL PH s first barge terminal Set to open in June 2018 Will allow trans-shipment of cargo from Manila port to Cavite via barges and Roll-on Roll-off operations 91% completion as of May 2018

efoi Portal DOTr was recognized as one of the top performing department/national agencies during the Freedom of Information (FOI). More than 300 requests were lodged via the portal as June 2018.
