National Activation National Activation October 21-22, 2017 Activation will begin at 23:30hrs Eastern on 10/21 (0330Z) National Site Activation will be a rolling process. Towers are grouped by ARTCC and Service Area as well as mapped to Time Zone All times are listed in Zulu time ARTCC and Towers (from tower cab and MTM location) will dial into telecon bridge 30 minutes prior to listed start time Once an ARTCCs towers have completed the cutover, the ARTCC and selected tower will stay on the bridge to conduct the logon test with the WJHTC Avionics Lab. Towers not participating in the Logon test will be released. The Logon Test Lead will manage the Logon test for that ARTCC/Tower combination IFCET will address problem handling via a dedicated triage line Airlines will share teleconference bridges for coordination and issue reporting (Triage line) 2

Airspace User Notification Detailed schedule will be disseminated (email) to carriers to outline the rollout plan of. Notifications will be made using the following: D-ATIS After Activation is complete, modify D-ATIS to state: +++For CPDLC DCL Logon, use KUSA+++ D-ATIS message to remain until it is published on the chart NOTAMs will be issued Status update emails will be disseminated to airlines as sites progress through the cutover. Majority of operators advised that they would also supplement with an internal ACARS message to the cockpit 6
