The members that were on the road to Recovery are doing much better and are able to return to the meetings and hopefully back to riding their bikes soon. My sister unexpectedly passed away. Brenda went through a very long painful ordeal before having her gall bladder removed. Jim McClanhan has made it to the last 2 or 3 meetings but he let us know Saturday he has to have another surgery on his knee. We hated to hear that. Terry is having surgery to remove his thyroid and we found out today that Joy is having double bypass surgery next week. Please keep them all in your prayers for successful surgery and fast recovery. We received a call from Charles and Francis that Danny Herron had passed away. I met Danny for the first time when we went camping at the Tennessee rally. We camped again at the campout and ride to Virginia and he surprised us by showing up at Saturday s meeting at Pier 51. Danny always had a smile on his face and was truly just a nice guy. Please keep his wife and his Family in your prayers. **Unfortunately, last month we didn t get much riding in as a group due to other things going on. Wanda and I trailered my bike To Wisconsin and took my sisters ashes for one last ride along the Mississippi river. The monthly ride is coming up on the 21 st ; Bill has another great ride planned; please try to make it as Bill puts a lot of preparation and thought to make the ride great. **Wanda and I will be traveling to Sri Lanka this Saturday and will be back in 2 weeks. Just in time for our Chapter picnic. If you haven t signed up for a dish to pass yet, please sign up on our Facebook page or let Martha know. The Picnic is at Ebenezer Park on the 25 th of this month. Several members are also camping again this year. We always have lots of good food and good times. ** Wing Ding is almost here! Wanda and I plan on going to Knoxville on the 28 th (Tuesday) If anybody wants to ride along as a group. There will also be several campers going if you want to travel together. For those that volunteered to work, please don t forget, as they are counting on our help. ** I want to thank Joy for her dedication as the Newsletter Editor. Today, (Tuesday) she had a heart catheterization and met with heart surgeons to schedule a double by-pass, but still insisted on doing her (free) Job. Good luck next Thursday Joy, we are praying everything goes well and you will be up to going to the picnic and Wing Ding. ASSISTANT DIRECTORS Eric & Rose Cale Hello Chapter H, What another great meeting. We had some wonderful guests attend with Buddy returning Goofy with some more wonderful adventures. Our Chapter picnic is Saturday, August 25 th. If you are able to attend, please sign the sheet on our Facebook page or drop an email to one of us to add your name on an item you would like to bring for the picnic. There are a few of us camping out, so if you want to come early or stay late to have some extra fun, c'mon down. Almost immediately after the picnic, Wing Ding will be kicking off on Aug 29-Sept.1 st in Knoxville, TN. Rose and I are trying out the Toy Hauler for a change instead of staying at an indoor camp! (Hotel) We also will be traveling to see family afterwards, so please keep our sanity in mind...we all know how the in-laws can get. Be sure and read Bill s news on our upcoming Chapter Ride and on the website as well. Rose decided to try and ride with me for an extended stay in the 18 wheeled Goldwing. As of this writing, we made it to Canada (both of us alive I might add). In fact, she ended up being my lucky charm. My paperwork somehow made it through Customs in record time and there was hardly any slowing down through Toronto at 5pm...this NEVER happens. Told her she has to ride with me more often! No wonder she helps brighten our trips up. Eric and Rose Cale ACD 419-297-6230 ejcfish1@yahoo.com

Lunch will be at Claremont Café in Claremont. 5 star rating. KSU at 9:30 at Times Turn Around. **** Unfortunately, due to Joy s surgery, I will be unable to lead the ride, so we need a volunteer! This is only about an hour and a half ride, but very enjoyable. So how about it Joe or Steve????????? Someone? Thank you, Ride Safe and always wear your helmet! Bill Wind Therapy!!

Who has Goofy??? Bill has Goofy this month! When I (Joy) came home the other day, he was sad because he lost His pocket knife. A gift to him from his Son. He thought he lost it when he went to Gaffney. After going to Walmart, through the parking lot 4 times, then to the bank and BP Station, No luck. We came home and I walked into the bedroom and saw his jeans laying on the chair from the day before, I picked them up and sure enough.there was his knife in his pocket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was so happy! We had a good laugh.

Newsletter Editor Hello Everyone, Joy Hurin We had a great turnout at our meeting. Thank you to everyone who came out. Great to see our visitors again. Buddy & Kim our District Leaders along with Glenn & Donna and John & Donna. Of course we were expecting Buddy, as he had Goofy! Thanks to Terry and Katie for the Needy Family Gift. Al & Janice will be bringing it for September. *** Please remember, our September meeting will be held the second Saturday on the 8 th because of the Wing Ding. ** Chapter Picnic August 25 th at Ebenezer Park. Please let Martha know if you plan to come and bring a dish, or sigh up on Face Book ** Wing Ding in Knoxville, TN. August 29 th September 1 st. ** SC District Picnic Thrill, & Chill camp out, October 26 th -28 th. We are so glad the doctors finally found that Brenda Wood s problem was her Gallbladder. After surgery Brenda is feeling much better and is recuperating at home. Thank you Jesus. Terry White will be having Thyroid Surgery in the next few days. Also, I will be having double by- pass heart surgery next Thursday the 16 th. This was a big surprise to me and most others as well! Jim McClanahan has to have another surgery on his knee. Please keep us all in prayer and remember to always pray for each other. We lost a good friend, Danny Herron last week as well. He was at our meeting on Saturday. Keep his wife, Diane and family, in prayer. That s all folks!!!!!!! Joy
