NEW TRACK: Purerua Peninsula - Wiwiki Beach Reserve (Purerua Peninsula) NQ02 Tramping track From Purerua Road, at the same point that the Marsden Cross track leaves the road. At the end of the farm road if is access allowed. If not, then as for current parking at Purerua Road. Private Mataka Station farmer maintains farm roadway. needs no dogs signage high kiwi numbers / habitat area. New track needed for 300-500 metres. Existing formed roadway from Marsden Cross about 6 km long. Most of the walk is along ridgelines or cut contours of hills. The last part is steep down to the coast. NEW TRACK: Waitangi - Kerikeri to Waitangi Coastal Track NW01 Mixed Middle section a tramping track, Kerikeri and Waitangi end sections of the track to short walk standard. From Waitangi or the Kerikeri Basin Reserve, at the end points, but joining the track at points along the way would be possible, for example Wharau Road, Wairoa Bay, etc. Waitangi plenty of parking spaces, also at the Wairoa Bay picnic grounds. Kerikeri could get crowded at the Basin Reserve car park, but plenty of space is available at the Deparment of Conservation car park. Private, Far North District Council, Department of Conservation, Waitangi National Trust. Waitangi Trust at Treaty Grounds, Department of Conservation at Kerikeri Basin Reserve walks. Wairoa Bay picnic site well signposted: No dogs, no camping. No other signage would need trail marking signs and interpretive signs. 25 km? Tramping, walking, mountain biking (no bikes through the Treaty Grounds), swimming, picnicking, bird watching Haruru Falls, Mt Bledisloe, Wairoa Falls Walkway, Kerikeri River Track and the Rainbow Falls, Kerikeri Inlet Track from Stone Store.

Rolling hills and mangrove, small and steep hills Walking, horse riding, mountain biking along the metal road. Toilets and picnicking facilities at the Treaty House. No dogs allowed. Waitangi Mangrove Walk, Waitaingi Kerikeri Foot Trail, Waitaingi Coastal Walkway, Kerikeri to Waitaingi Coastal Track Some of the track would pass through open areas, some through bush very attractive views. Safe parking area at the top of the mountain. The track has a small loop at the Mt Bledisloe Lookout.
NEW TRACK: Waitangi - Waitangi River Walkway and Kayak Route NW03 Facilities: Tramping track and kayak route Top Energy Site Reserve, the Lily Pond and the car park at Haruru Falls. Top Energy Site Reserve, the Lily Pond and the car park at Haruru Falls. The Far North District Council esplanade reserve and the Waitangi National Trust owns the eastern end. Fish and Game Council signs at the Lily Pond. No other signage. 6 km? Relatively flat steep towards the Haruru Falls end. Walking, running, picnicking, kayaking, swimming yet at the Top Energy reserve site at Puketona. The Lily Pond access way is badly eroded and potholed. No other facilities at the Lily Pond. At Haruru Falls there is a car park and picnic facilities at the campsite (including toilets). Haruru Falls; Waitangi Mangrove Walk; Mt Bledisloe Track; Waitangi Kerikeri Foot Trail. Some small segments of track exist, the rest still has to be formed.
