1/8 GRAND PETERHOF PALACE & MUSEUMS NEXT TO IT PETERHOF MUSEUM-RESERVE: PARKS & FOUNTAINS Core of the Peterhof ensemble is the Grand Palace which is overcowded during the high season. To help the visitors get through the lines & to preserve the interiors the ticket sale sessions are embeded. Thiese sessions divide the travel companies and agents from the individual visitors (P.2) Most people travelling to Peterhof want to see the fountains - main information about the Lower park with fountains is given on Page 2. All 150 fountains of the Lower park are on everyday from April 28th till October 14th, 2018 (P. 2) Before entering the Lower park have a look at the Upper Garden. You'll be amazed by the oldest fountain as well as the stunning view of the Grand palace. The entrance to the Garden is always free. There's a gorgeous Italian-style Kolonistsky park with Islands opposite to the Upper Garden just across the Avenue (P.6) 15 minutes walk from the Lower park is a former private emperor's estate of Alexandria (P.5) and if you head towards the city of Lomonosov after 30 minutes ride you'll enjoy the splendor of the18th century palace & park ensemble called Oranienbaum (PP.7-8). The hydrofoil companies are not assotiated with Peterhof State MuseumReserve and do not sell tickets to its facilities. The most picturesque way to Peterhof is by train, It takes 36 minutes to get from the Baltic Railway Station to the "New Peterhof" Station. City buses 344, 348, 350, 351, 352 or 355 will bring you from the station to the Upper Garden in 15 minutes. A common way to get to Peterhof is to take a minibus 224, 300 or 424 from "Avtovo" metro station. When there's no traffic they'll take you to the main entrance at the Upper Garden in 30-40 minutes.
