Total debits for the week under review are f1,4o6,000,000 or 12.4 per cent above those for the week ending June 2, 1926. New York City reported an increase of $1,189,000,000, Chicago $92,000,000, Pittsburgh $60,000,000, San Francisco $31i000,000 and Philadelphia $26,000,000, while Cleveland ahd St. Louis reported reductions of $38,000,000 and $22,000,000, respectively. Aggregate debits for l4l centers for which figures have been published weekly since January 1919 amounted to about ftl2,100,000,000, as compared with $12,410,960,000 for the preceding' week and $10,687,253,000 for the week ending June 2, 1926.
