Subject: Performance of domestic airlines for the year 2014. Traffic data submitted by various domestic airlines has been analysed for the month of Dec 2014. The passenger load factor in the month of Dec 2014 has shown increasing trend compared to previous month due to ongoing tourist season. Cancellations The overall cancellation rate of scheduled domestic airlines for the month of Dec 2014 has been 6.99%. The overall cancelation rate is high due to low visibility conditions at airports located in Northern India. High cancellation rate of Spicejet is due to cancellation of number of flights by them on account of financial difficulties. It has been found that majority of delays have been attributed to Reactionary. 7

At the time of compilation of this report, OTP data of 51 carriers was received. The overall On-Time Performance (OTP) of these 51 carriers for the month of Dec 2014 has been 73.6% in departures and 72.8% in arrivals.
