A-CDM A SUCCESS CASE OF COLLABORATION GRUAIRPORT & GOL Capt Miguel Dau - COO 1
OLD STRUCTURE (CGA)- INFRAERO AIRPORT MANAGEMENT CENTER CENTRO DE GERENCIAMENTO AEROPORTUÁRIA The INFRAERO implemented the Airport Management Center CENTRO DE GERENCIAMENTO AEROPORTUÁRIA (CGA) This Center was a initial conception of ACDM, focused in integration between all stakeholders, based on: Boarding Passenger Arrival passenger The main areas were segregated and physically separated. Operating system were not integrated and unified. A lot of rework and time was needed. Limitation of the infrastructure. 2
OPERATIONAL CONTROL CENTER CENTRO DE CONTROLE OPERACIONAL OCC - CGO MAY OF 2014 GRU AIRPORT INAUGURATED THE NEW OPERATIONAL CONTROL CENTER CONCEPCT: 1 2 Organizational restructuring. New technology investments NEW STRUCTURE OPERATION DIRECTOR 3 New Buildings investments OCC OPS 4 New procedures 5 Integration between GRU Airport and stakeholder. OPERATIONAL CONTROL CENTER CENTRO DE CONTROLE OPERACIONAL The Operational Control Center is responsible for coordinate and monitoring, in a collaborative model, all operations of arrival and departure, park position, boarding gates, baggage conveyors, customs line flow and transports, to improve operation flow. 1) Daily management of operational KPI 2) Integration with all stakeholders (Airline Company's, Ground handlers, Maintenance, Federal Police, Customs) 3) Operational Planning and optimize the operation 4) Optimize infrastructure (E.g. Aircraft stand/ gate management) AIRPORT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM The AMS provides system integration, real-time operational control, increased agility, and enhanced collaboration between stakeholders. ZEUS/ACDM A system that helps to keep staff at all levels informed and manage the daily operation, sharing information. 4
ACDM AIRPORT COLLABORATIVE DECISION MAKING INTEGRATIONS ACDM is a concept created to develop a collaborative decision process on airport operations. The concept is based in the integration and collaboration of all stakeholders, (GRUAIRPORT, Airline Company s, Ground Handlers, Public Agency and Air Traffic Control) sharing information in real time. AIRPORT OPERATION GROUND HANDLER AMS PUBLIC AGENCY ATC CONTROL CENTER CCO AIRLINE COMPANYS COMMON GOALS IMPROVEMENT EMBARQUE BOARDING 1 IN FLIGHT 2 LAND TAXI Higher planning accuracy and planning reliability of operational processes Reduce the waste of slot in ATFM/CGNA Improved adherence to ATFM slots and thus optimal utilization of available ATC capacity 3 PARK IN 5 DEBOARD IMIGRATION RECLAIM 6 7 8 CUSTOMS EXIT TRANSPORT 4 9 10 AIRCRAFT TURN AROUND Better use of infrastructure, e.g. aircraft stand/gate management Improve reconciliation baggage time. NEXT STEPS Consolidate of the ACDM Concept in GRUAIRPORT A-CDM Manual development Spread and integrate with all stakeholders. Awareness and involvement of all stakeholders Encouraging stakeholders to take part of decisions. Improve Airport operation with Airlines meetings Better use of Airport Infrastructure Reduce the MCT 1h30min to 1h10min. Optimize the OTP Better use of air bridge Integration with others Airport in Brazil Integration with the main airports in Brazil. Integration with others Airport around the World (ACDM) 8
