ITINERARY Trip itinerary subject to change THURSDAY Upon arrival into Los Angeles, travelers who purchased the group air package will transfer from the airport to the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles hotel in the pulse of downtown LA. Well-located near the 7th Street Metro Center Station in the area known as The Bloc, it is a short walk to fantastic shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues. Enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure. FRIDAY OR Optional Warner Bros. Studio Tour * - We ll depart via motorcoach at 8:00am and travel to the working Hollywood Studio. You ll never see Hollywood the same way again as you explore the working sets and actual sound stages where the biggest names in entertainment made history. After mastering the magic of Hollywood, we will return to the hotel at approximately 1:00 pm. Optional Getty Center Tour * - Set on a hilltop in the Santa Monica Mountains, the modernist complex offers spectacular panoramic views of the city and is well known for its enthralling art museum, unique architecture, elaborate gardens and breathtaking views. Enjoy an included box lunch at your leisure in the peaceful and picturesque grounds of the Center. We will depart the hotel at 9:00 am and return at approximately 2:00 pm. This evening, the Flying Longhorns will enjoy a private Welcome Cocktail Reception at the exciting Grammy Museum. SATURDAY Following breakfast, travel by private motorcoach to Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, one of the largest stadiums in America and declared a State and Federal Historical Landmark for its contribution to both California and the USA. The Coliseum was the site of the 1932 Olympic Games and was used again for opening and closing ceremonies and track events of the 1984 Olympics. The USC Trojans have used this grand stadium since its completion in 1923! Prior to kick-off, our Flying Longhorns will delight in a private Tailgate Party complete with delicious food options and variety of beverages. Afterwards, watch our University of Texas Longhorns take on the Trojans of the University of Southern California! Game ticket not included and game time is TBA.
