Brown Deer Rd. A 30 year old female from Independence, MO called 911 for help because she was locked inside of the closed bank and did not know how she got there. Officers responded and discovered the female had wandered away from the Sheraton after drinking heavily. The female had a warrant through Iowa and was taken into custody. Bond was posted and she was released from custody. Retail Theft Family Dollar An employee of Family Dollar reports a retail theft where two subjects left the store without paying for merchandise. The suspects were last seen in maroon Olds Cutlass Supreme driving W/B on Brown Deer Rd. Officers were unable to locate the car and the employee did not know what store merchandise was taken as an unidentified customer had told her about the theft.
Traffic Crash/Operating While Intoxicated 4100 W. Bradley Rd. Caller reports a rollover traffic crash with injuries. The crash involved two men from Milwaukee, a 39 year old and a 51 year old. The 51 year old appeared to be impaired and was arrested for Operating while intoxicated 1st offense causing injury. Both men were transported to area hospitals for treatment of what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. Retail Theft - Walmart A Walmart employee reports a retail theft in progress. The suspect could be seen concealing socks inside her purse. A 27 year old female, unknown address, was arrested, cited for retail theft, and released. Road Hazard Green Bay Rd at Hawthorne Trace Rd. Caller reports a car bumper in the roadway. The owner of the bumper, a 20 year old from Milwaukee, returned and retrieved his bumper. 04/20 Assist Other Agency Requested N Green Bay Rd Mequon PD reports a silver Volkswagen with no plates that fled from their officers during a traffic stop and was last seen southbound on N. Green Bay Road. Officers responded, but could not locate the vehicle. Request for Police 5400 W. Silverleaf Ln. Resident called requesting assistance putting her brother's German Shepard outside because she was scared of dogs. The playful, eight month old German Shepard got out of its cage and was running around the house. The officer put the dog outside in the fenced in yard as the caller was contacting her brother. Service rendered. Fire Call/Drugs Walgreens The Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting a subject passed out in the bathroom, possibly due to a Heroin overdose. Officers found a 26 year old Brown Deer man passed out with drug paraphernalia nearby. The man was medically cleared by NSFD and was arrested and booked for Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Traffic Crash W. Brown Deer Road at 64 th St. An officer on patrol discovered the traffic signal at this location was knocked down by an unknown vehicle. The State Highway Department was notified.
04/21 Disorderly Conduct 4685 W. Bradley (Petro Mart) Store owner is reporting an employee, a 31 year old female from Milwaukee, became upset over a payment dispute and knocked over several racks inside the store. The employee left prior to officers arrival and investigation continues. Retail Theft TJ Maxx Loss prevention employee reports individuals inside the store cutting off security sensors from merchandise and concealing items. While officers were staging outside, the suspects dumped the merchandise prior to exiting the store. TJ Maxx no longer wished to pursue the matter. Retail Theft TJ Maxx Loss prevention employee has detained a subject for retail theft. A 41 year old female from Milwaukee was arrested, cited for retail theft, and released. 04/22 Entry in Progress 8400 N. 66 th St. Resident called to report someone attempting to break into his home. The suspect fled in a smaller dark colored car, possibly a Cavalier, southbound on N. 66th Street at a high rate of speed. No entry was gained and officers did not locate the vehicle. Fraud Walmart Walmart employee called to report suspects attempting to return merchandise previously stolen from their store. The employee believed that the individuals currently returning items in the customer service area were thought to be the same people responsible from a theft earlier in the day. The employee determined the people returning the items did not match the description of their theft suspects and no police action was taken. Suspicious Activity 51 st St at Calumet Caller is reporting an open fire hydrant at this intersection. Contact was made with an employee of the Milwaukee Water Department who stated they were flushing the hydrant and would shut the water off when they were done.
04/23 Accident/PI Brown Deer Rd at 60 th St. Multiple calls reporting a motor vehicle crash with airbag deployment and possible injuries. A 29 year old female from Brown Deer and 24 year old women from Milwaukee were involved and taken to area hospitals with unknown injuries. Investigation continues and press release was issued. Assault/Battery Brown Deer Middle High School Officer was requested to respond to the Brown Deer Middle High School for a report of a student that was burned by another student on 04-22-15. A 15 year old was arrested and cited for battery. Animal Complaints W. Brown Deer Rd near Green Bay Rd. Caller reports a dead turkey lying in the roadway. The turkey was located in the Village of River Hills and moved to the median so it did not obstruct traffic. Suspicious Activity 4400 W. Brown Deer Rd. Caller reports a suspicious person with a large backpack lurking around the cell tower near the bike path. A 49 year old Milwaukee man was identified and arrested for an open warrant through the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department. Walmart employee reports a retail theft in progress where the suspect is concealing items taken in electronics. A 19 year old Milwaukee man was arrested for retail theft, issued a municipal citation and released from the store. Walmart employee reports a retail theft where the suspect is concealing items in the grocery area. A 25 year old female from Milwaukee was arrested for retail theft, taken to the station, booked, cited, and released. 04/24 Traffic Stop 6000 W. Bradley Rd. An officer on patrol attempted to stop a black 2011 Dodge Charger that was traveling at a high rate of speed on W Bradley Road; however, the operator accelerated away when a traffic stop was attempted. The officer and Milwaukee PD contacted the owner, a 32 year old Milwaukee man, who refused to identify the driver. He was issued a citation for owner liability fleeing an officer.
Theft Complaint 4375 W. Bradley Rd. Construction site manager reports several bundles of copper wiring were cut and taken from building three located on the west end. Extra patrol is requested. Disorderly Conduct 8800 N. Plaza Ct. Caller reports a fight with two unknown male black subjects. Complainant met a girl on Craigslist and they met for the first time today at Park Plaza Apartments. The unknown female subject asked him to take her to the liquor store and he refused. He then saw two male black subjects in the area that he thought were going to jump him. He dropped the unknown female off at Walmart and left the area. No crime was committed. Walmart reports a retail theft in progress where the suspect removed a phone case and is concealing it. A 19 year old female from Milwaukee was arrested, cited for retail theft and released. 04/25 Suspicious Activity Bank Mutual Caller reports a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot and its unknown if it s occupied. An officer identified a 62 year old Milwaukee man as the owner and found out he was recently issued a citation for operating while suspended. He told the officer he would have a valid driver remove the vehicle from the parking lot. Suspicious 6500 W. Brown Deer Rd. An officer on patrol was flagged down in the parking lot of Subway regarding a vehicle that may have just been stolen. The vehicle was located and stopped in the 6500 block of W. Brown Deer Rd. as the vehicle's car alarm was sounding. Contact was made with the driver/owner who explained a mechanical problem caused the alarm to sound. Loss prevention has a person detained for retail theft. A 50 year old female from Milwaukee was arrested and cited on scene for retail theft.
