WARNINGS WHEN YOU SEE A WARNING! SIGN ( ) BE SURE TO HEED THE MESSAGE! THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THESE MESSAGES MAY PREVENT INJURIES! CABELA S TENTS ARE EASY TO ASSEMBLE AS LONG AS YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND AVOID EXCESSIVE FORCE TO ANY PART OF THE TENT OR POLES. FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH ALL PARTS AND FULLY ASSEMBLE YOUR TENT BEFORE GOING ON YOUR FIRST ADVENTURE. DO NOT PITCH THE TENT OVER ROCKS, STICKS OR OTHER SHARP OBJECTS THAT COULD DAMAGE THE TENT FLOOR. PLACING A FOOTPRINT UNDER THE TENT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. AVOID UNNECESSARY STRESS ON THE POLES. THE POLES SHOULD ONLY BE USED AS INTENDED AND NOT BENT MORE THAN THE CURVATURE OF THE TENT. MAKE SURE JOINTS ARE FULLY ENGAGED BEFORE BENDING THE POLES. BEWARE OF HAZARDS WHEN PICKING A TENT SITE. BEWARE OF POSSIBLE FALLING ROCKS OR TREE LIMBS, LIGHTNING STRIKES, FLASH FLOODS, STRONG WINDS AND OTHER HAZARDS WHICH MAY CAUSE INJURY OR DAMAGE. DO NOT USE FUEL-BURNING DEVICES INSIDE OR NEAR THIS PRODUCT. STOVES, LANTERNS, CANDLES, HEATERS AND OTHER FUEL-BURNING DEVICES PRODUCE CARBON MONOXIDE AND WILL CONSUME THE AVAILABLE OXYGEN IN A TENT. USE OF SUCH DEVICES IN A TENT MAY CAUSE ASPHYXIATION, CARBON-MONOXIDE POISONING, AND DEATH OR SERIOUS AND PERMANENT INJURY. CABELA S TENT FABRICS ARE FLAME-RETARDANT TREATED PER CPAI-84 SPECIFICATIONS. THEY ARE NOT FIREPROOF! OPEN FLAMES SHOULD NOT BE USED IN OR NEAR THE TENT SINCE FLAME-RESISTANT MATERIALS CAN STILL BURN OR MELT. TO REMOVE TENT STAKES, USE A HAMMER OR STAKE PULLER. DO NOT REMOVE BY PULLING ON THE TENT FABRIC. THIS COULD CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TENT. ALWAYS STORE YOUR TENT DRY AND CLEAN. TO CLEAN SOILED AREAS, GENTLY APPLY NONDETERGENT SOAP AND WATER. DO NOT SCRUB THE TENT FABRIC, AS YOU MAY DAMAGE THE WATER-REPELLENT PROPERTIES. DO NOT SPRAY WITH INSECTICIDES. MOST CONTAIN CHEMICALS THAT MAY DAMAGE TENT MATERIALS. TIPS AND BEST PRACTICES ADDITIONAL INFORMATION THAT MAY HELP YOU. Cabela s recommends that you familiarize yourself with all parts and fully assemble your tent before going on your first adventure. It can be easier to assemble a tent with the door facing the wind. Once you have fully assembled the tent, you can turn it to face the way you want and re-stake. Stakes should be placed at a 45 angle with the tops facing away from the center of the tent. If your tent has fabric ties or hooks on top of the tent, secure these to the poles. These are usually the support for an accessory hang point inside the tent. We HIGHLY recommend setting guy lines every time to secure your tent. Guy lines will not only stabilize the tent in windy conditions, they also ensure that the tent will vent properly. When possible, open doors to increase ventilation and reduce condensation, which can form on the inner tent surface. Research the area where you intend to camp. Prepare for any possible weather conditions. Be aware of hazards and emergency protocol. Know the rules and regulations of the area where you intend to camp. Be considerate of other people and wildlife. Remember to clean up and dispose of all waste properly. Leave no trace behind. Always store your tent dry and clean. To clean soiled areas, gently apply nondetergent soap and water. You should set up and inspect your tent annually before using. Ensure that you have all the parts from the provided list. Inspect seams for wear and apply seam sealer if needed. DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Follow all assembly steps in reverse order to disassemble the tent. When disassembling the tent, you should slightly loosen all rain-fly buckles or webbing. You should also loosen window zippers to relieve stress upon next assembly. Fold the rain fly and place it over the tent body. Fold the tent body into thirds or quarters, depending on the tent. The width of the folded tent should roughly match the length of the unassembled poles. For smaller backpack tents, place the pole and stake bag on the short end of the tent. Firmly roll the tent up around the pole bag and place in the carry bag. 4 PLEASE READ THIS MANUAL IN ITS ENTIRETY PRIOR TO USING THIS PRODUCT. INSTINCT ALASKAN TENT ASSEMBLY CABELA S TENTS ARE EASY TO ASSEMBLE AS LONG AS YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND AVOID EXCESSIVE FORCE TO ANY PART OF THE TENT OR POLES. WE RECOMMEND ASSEMBLY BE COMPLETED BY TWO PEOPLE. STEP 1 - GETTING STARTED A B D C Lay the footprint out flat with the pointed end away from the door. Lay the tent body flat over the footprint with the door side facing up (door side has gold webbing). Stake out all body loops, including the footprint loops. (Note: Insert all stakes into the ground at a 45 angle with the tops facing away from the center of the tent.) STEP 2 - MAIN POLE ASSEMBLY Take out the four gold shock-corded poles and assemble. Pass one pole line through the front-to-rear gold-trimmed pole sleeve A and one pole assembly through front-to-rear sleeve B. D C A B Repeat this process for the two remaining gold poles, C and D. STEP 3 - MAIN POLE ASSEMBLY CONT. Insert one end of the gold pole assembly A into the ring pin of the two available ring pins (Fig. 2). Do the same for the remaining pole assemblies. With your partner located at the opposite end of pole line A, hold on to the pole assembly end, carefully lift up the tent and insert the pole line into one of the available ring pins. Repeat the process for pole assembly B, C and D. PLEASE READ THIS MANUAL IN ITS ENTIRETY PRIOR TO USING THIS PRODUCT. CALL 1-800-237-4444 FOR ASSISTANCE OR VISIT WWW.CABELAS.COM 5

ASSEMBLY CONT. CABELA S TENTS ARE EASY TO ASSEMBLE AS LONG AS YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND AVOID EXCESSIVE FORCE TO ANY PART OF THE TENT OR POLES. STEP 4 - SECONDARY POLE ASSEMBLY Take out the two enclosed silver shock-corded poles and assemble. Insert one end of pole assembly E into the ring pin (these poles should be placed outside the gold poles). Carefully flex the pole assembly and insert the other end into the ring pin. Next, attach the clips to the pole. Repeat the process for pole assembly F (Fig 4). Attach the rest of the C-clips to all pole assemblies from the bottom up. E F E F STEP 5 - RAIN FLY Attach all hook-and-loop webbing at pole intersections (Fig 5). Before attaching the rain fly, insert the short silver ridge pole between top two grommets at position G (Fig 6). Position the rain fly so that the dual zippered door is at the front of the tent. Assemble the black pole assembly and insert it into the rain-fly pole sleeve at position H (Fig 7). Insert both ends of the pole assembly into the tent ring pins. 5 STEP 6 - FINAL STEPS G Set guy lines on the front vestibule by pulling the front vestibule away from the tent evenly until it is taut. Stake out the vestibule loops. G H H Stake out all remaining loops and guy lines. 6 (Note: Guy lines will not only stabilize the tent in windy conditions, they also ensure that the tent vents properly.) Attach the gear loft to attachment points on the ceiling. 6 PLEASE READ THIS MANUAL IN ITS ENTIRETY PRIOR TO USING THIS PRODUCT. CALL 1-800-237-4444 FOR ASSISTANCE OR VISIT WWW.CABELAS.COM
