Giddy up Catch Up www.teresakayentertainment.com Growing chick Hen & chick December 3, 2015 singer, songwriter, entertainer, guitarist recording artist Hello Family Friends, What an eventful year! As you can tell by the photos there is a country flavor to the newsletter pictures. Lynne I have moved to my family s farm near Hartington, Nebraska. Lynne s health dictated a change; change we did! We are blessed a beautiful country setting wonderful home. Lynne retired from his career as a semi truck driver at Roberts/Hil Dairy in Omaha. He is now driving part-time for a local farmer. Due to less hours of work getting the chance to sleep at night (instead of driving at night) his health has improved tremendously. We are very grateful to our family for their help (in so many ways) during this transition. We are settling in have enjoyed the summer autumn in the country; but here comes winter. If you believe (like I do) that snow is more of a winter indicator than the calendar, then you probably believe winter is here. Lynne I have the use of two tractors for country living. This gift comes as a major blessing from our son, Jim his family. Nothing pushes snow like a tractor when we need to clear the lane. I enjoy meeting new people as I exp my show into the Hartington area. My show calendar for 2016 will include exciting new venues as well as returning to previous venues visiting good friends. The future looks busy bright. You are invited to take a look at my updated website. My son, Joe, works hard to keep the site current. The website, reflects an added element to my live program. I call this new show: History, Hats, the Music. What a fun presentation! Last month I pitched one of my new songs to a movie producer. He said he really liked the song! Patience will be necessary as the producer also said that the film is still in the early stages so it will be a while before music decisions are made. I m excited that he liked the song. Thank you for your interest. I ll see you soon along the trail. Sincerely, Teri

Gitty Up Catch Up (Teri) April 1, 2013 Spring is finally here! I ve been busy at the studio. Marci joined the fun as we recorded, That There Cowboy. I really enjoy recording, learning, witnessing a simple melody lyric transform into musical expression. I owe a big thank you to Chuck, the owner, engineer, phenomenal musician at Studio 24 for his expertise. He brings life to my paper scribbles tune ideas. He is not only talented, but a great teacher lots of patience. I am very excited that the new CD is almost ready for the duplication process. The wheels of process turn slowly, but they are turning! If you haven't been to my web page lately, you will see that it continues to be an ever evolving new look, compliments of my son, Joe. Click on the arrow on the first page to get a look at my chart rankings! Eight songs that I submitted to musictoradio.com (music to radio) are getting radio play. Three songs made it to their top 40 list; a songwriter s dream. I believe there have been about 500 DJ downloads of my songs for on-air radio play. I trust someday soon my ears will catch one of my own songs on the air. Marci I are heading to Lyons, NE, in April. We will present an evening show for the Outlaw Trail Scenic Byway Trail Riders. If you enjoy trail riding you may want to consider this riding opportunity. For more information: Al Brock at (402)376-1164, NebraskaOutlawTrail.org, AQHA.com. It will be great fun! Catching Up 2nd Annual Outlaw Trail Ride Scenic Byways Trail Ride Turkey Creek Ranch, Newcastle, NE Organized by Al Brock, Nebraska Outlaw Trail Organization, the AQHA Hi There Family Friends! We ve put a few more miles on the car since the last newsletter. We love traveling, especially together. It s a special treat when we have a husb or two riding along. Not only do the guys drive so we can have girl talk, but our husbs are great at packing, loading, hauling equipment! Such was the case when we traveled to Newcastle. Teri s husb, Lynne, was there to lend a h. Most of you know that the Newcastle area is our home turf. It was great to go back home to entertain even sing together. We also had the chance to greet friends we hadn't seen in a long time meet many wonderful people that had traveled many miles to participate in the ride. The purpose of this event was fun fellowship among horsemen while promoting the great communities sites along Scenic Byway, Highway 12, such as beautiful Turkey Creek Ranch. Al Brock presented fun facts regarding the history of horse racing the outlaws that rode along Nebraska s rugged Outlaw Trail. Highway 12, Nebraska s Outlaw Trail, begins in South Sioux City winds 231 miles to Valentine. This scenic, yet rugged lscape, offered hideouts escape routes for those riding from the law. This included Nebraska s outlaws, Doc Middleton Kid Wade. Find more information about the Outlaw Trail at www.nebraskaoutlawtrail.org. Teri has many patriotic, 4th of July shows as well as a western Hoedown on the calendar. July tends to be her busiest month of the year for entertaining celebrating! Summer Party time is finally here! Marci is planning to attend The S Hills Discovery in Ainsworth, NE July 11-13th. This year's theme is The Dirty Thirties. Giddy Up Catch Up (Teri) July 10, 2013 Hi Family Friends, Yes, that is me on the stage of the beautiful Davies Amphitheater stage in Glenwood, Iowa. The evening was perfect a soft breeze cooling the 85 degree temperature. As you can see, it was a colorful red, white, & blue July 6th show. Music included many of the oldies. The audience sang along as we paid tribute to the wonderful artist of the past, (I also put a few of my songs in the line-up). Of course, the show would not have been complete out patriot songs. What fun! In the April newsletter of Giddy Up Catch Up, I mentioned that Marci I were headed to Lynch, Nebraska for a show. Trail riders rode to Horse Thief Canyon, south of town. Mr. Al Brock graciously gave us (Marci, me, & our entourage) a guided tour by car. Marci drove the van through the narrow roads to the canyon. What a sight! It was a memorable trip through the rolling hills around Lynch. After their ride, trail riders gathered for an welcomed evening meal entertainment. Marci I always enjoy our time together, sharing our western stories music. I still wonder why any outlaw would venture into an area called Lynch! Thanks to Mr. Brock for inviting us to participate in this scenic event along Nebraska s Outlaw Trail. Up-coming public events: Teri - Wild Turkey Days, Spencer, NE Friday, October 11th at 7:00 p.m. Marci & Teri - Old West Days, Valentine NE Fri. & Sat. Oct. 11 & 12.
