With that in mind, please be aware of the following policies: The $25 deposit guarantees your spot on the trip. If you cannot go, do not expect to have your deposit refunded. Notify the leader promptly if you have to cancel, even if you have only paid the deposit and full payment isn t yet due. If something prevents you from going, do not expect a refund. If a replacement can be found, then that person can reimburse you. Make out a separate check to Flatirons Ski Club for each trip, and write the name of the trip on the memo line. If you are paying for another person with your check that person needs to be identified on the memo line, as well. Suggested Car Pool Fees These suggested car pool fees are based on 5 cents per mile and 2 or more passengers. They represent a reasonable cost of providing a vehicle to the various ski resorts beyond merely gas usage. The fees include round trip to the resort and intermittent trips as needed to the base area. Final pricing is up to the discretion of the driver. Make sure you have an understanding with the driver before you leave. Crested Butte $30 Glenwood/Aspen $40 Leadville $15 Park City $60 Snow Mountain Ranch $15 Snowy Range $20 Steamboat $20 Taos $50 Telluride $50 Wolf Creek $40 Note: If there is only one passenger, it is generally accepted that the cost of gas will be split between the passenger and the driver, and the passenger is encouraged to add an additional amount to cover vehicle wear and tear. Follow up Report for the January 9th 12th Snow Mountain Ranch Ski Trip The conditions for downhill and cross country skiing were fabulous! We all had a great time! Roger P.
