Dear Fellow Yacht Club Member, We are gearing up for a great year on Tinsley Island! A full racing season is before us and I sincerely hope that you are as excited about your 2017 yachting season as we are at the St. Francis Yacht Club. As you are making your preparations for the coming year, I would like to take this opportunity to make you aware of a special program that may be of interest to you and your club members. As you may know, the St. Francis Yacht Club has both a San Francisco Clubhouse and a little piece of paradise located in the Stockton Delta area, named Tinsley Island. Throughout the year, this location is considered a retreat by many of our members and is a favored spot to enjoy a leisurely weekend with friends and family. It is this experience, that we are now pleased to offer to you and your members. From October 1 to May 1, the St. Francis Yacht Club invites you to partake in this wonderful pleasure destination with an organized cruise to the Island for your club. Tinsley Island is a private location, shielded by lush vegetation and accessible only by boat. The Island features ample dock space with potable water and electricity (30, 50 and 100 amp) and lodging facilities, including a historic lighthouse and 28 bed bunkhouse. Activities include swimming at the large outdoor pool and kiddie pool, playing bocce on one of four courts, volleyball, horseshoes, and a playground for children. Meals can be prepared on the BBQ s (always fully stocked with mesquite), and in the large commercial kitchen and the covered lanai contains enough picnic tables to seat 500 people. Plus, there is plenty of storage available for dry goods as well as refridgerator and freezer storage space. See the enclosed amenities list for a more complete picture of all that the Island provides. Also enclosed are the current pricing structures for your Tinsley Island Cruise. We offer reduced rates for Club s cruising to the Island for the first time.
