Section 3 Exploring to adapt EASA Part M 2 Approvals according to SubPart F (Maintenance Organisation) SubPart G (CAMO) Article 3 (Continuous Airworthiness requirements): Organisations and personnel involved in the continuing airworthiness of aircraft and components (SubPart G), including maintenance (SubPart F), shall comply with the provisions of Annex 1 (Part M) and where appropriate those specified in Articles 4 and 5 5
EASA Part 145 Article 4 (Maintenance organisation approvals): Organisations involved in the maintenance of large aircraft or of aircraft used for commercial air transport, and components intended for fitment thereto, shall be approved in accordance with the provisions of Annex II (Part 145). SAR Part M Sub-Part G? (CAMO for CAT?) M.A 701 Extent of approval: Notwithstanding paragraph (a), for commercial air transport, the approval shall be part of the air operator certificate issued by the competent authority, for the aircraft operated. The new framework will cater for a wider variety of activities and be scalable for further growth. In developing the new framework, we are adopting the approach of graduated safety oversight that commensurate with the complexity of the operations involved. The organisation of the requirements will be improved, which aims at easier navigation and interpretation. 8
