The Placement Service for the Performing Arts Munich is part of the International Placement Services (ZAV) and will be glad to help you. AUMA The Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) charges an amount of EUR 0.60 per square metre of rented exhibition space to all exhibitors. This amount is invoiced by Messe München GmbH and passed on directly to AUMA. Booth party The time period for evening events is between 18:00 and 22:00. Up until 22:30 any clearing up that is required at your booth can be carried out, but all persons must have left the exhibition center by 23:00 at the latest. Please note that evening guests without a valid ticket to IFAT are only allowed on site from 19:00 onwards. We recommend you take account of this in your timing of the start of the event. In addition, guests without a valid ticket to IFAT will also need a letter of invitation to the evening event from you. They then have to present this letter at the turnstiles before being allowed to pass through. C Cancellation fee (for stand space) Cancellation fees will apply if you decide you no longer want your stand space once you have already confirmed the stand offer in writing directly to the exhibition management. The cancellation must be made in writing. If the stand can be rented to someone else, the cancellation fee will be 25 percent of the participation price. If the stand cannot be rented to someone else, 100 percent of the participation price will be charged. No cancellation fees will apply in the period between registration and the placement proposal. Exhibitor passes (print@home tickets) Free exhibitor passes (print@home tickets) are for download in the Exhibitor Shop available after the full payment of the admission invoice has been received. Exhibitor passes are only given out for the use of the company s own booth personnel; they are not to be passed on to third parties. Additional exhibitor passes can be ordered for a price of EUR 30 (net) per pass, online in the Exhibitor Shop under Passes and Tickets / Exhibitor Passes. Please note that exhibitor s passes do not entitle the holder to free travel on local public transport (MVV). Furthermore, they provide support with any other logistical challenges related to your exhibit. New halls / New layout of exhibition sectors At present, two new trade show halls (C5 and C6) are being built at the exhibition center in Munich, so that additional 20,000 square meters will be available in the halls to IFAT 2018. Detailed information is available here. S Set-up During the entire period of set-up and dismantling, NO exhibitor passes are needed to gain access to the exhibition center. Set-up starts on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 08:00. On the last day of set-up, Sunday, May 13, 2018, all delivery and set-up vehicles must be out of the hall area and the delivery courtyards by 18:00 at the latest. All the information about traffic regulations during set-up, the show itself and dismantling are contained in the Traffic Guide, online available up from March 2018. Scan2 Lead The Scan2Lead enables you to process your customer contacts directly in digital form at your booth. You only need your own smartphone or tablet and can immediately start the scanning process. As a result, you have access to the contact information that the visitor entered with his registration and can save meeting notes with the respective contact directly. Additional information about the various possibilities of visitor tracking is available in our Exhibitor Shop, which will be available starting from the fall of 2017. Exhibitor Shop The IFAT Exhibitor Shop will be available online for placed exhibitors starting from the fall in 2017. With your email address and own password, you can log into the shop and order any services that you need. Exhibitor passes (print@home tickets) Free exhibitor passes (print@home tickets) are for download in the Exhibitor Shop available after the full payment of the admission invoice has been received. Exhibitor passes are only given out for the use of the company s own booth personnel; they are not to be passed on to third parties. Additional exhibitor passes can be ordered for a price of EUR 30 (net) per pass, online in the Exhibitor Shop under Passes and Tickets / Exhibitor Passes. Please note that exhibitor s passes do not entitle the holder to free travel on local public transport (MVV). First Aid Our first-aid stations are located in the West and East Entrances and on the north side of hall C4 and are clearly marked. Staffing of the stations is dependent on events. Photography, film and video recordings as well as the production of drawings within the event grounds may only be made by persons, who have a valid permit issued by Messe München GmbH for this. The photographing or any other filming/shots of the booths of other exhibitors, for which no permission has been granted, is not permitted in any case. A permit is required during the complete trade fair, including the setup and dismantling days, i.e., from May 07 until May 22, 2018. Exhibitors or photographers/film crews contracted by them can obtain permission in the Main Security Office of Messe München GmbH starting from May 07, 2018 (open 24 h). This is located in the area of Gate 1 and can be accessed from within the trade fair grounds or from outside of them. An exhibitor must be able to identify himself as such (have exhibitor badge and ID on hand). Photographers and film crews must submit the written order of the contracting exhibitor (please have ID on hand). A flat rate of EUR 50 incl. VAT is to be paid per exhibitor or per order in cash or using an EC card. During the exhibitor opening times (07:30 to 19:00) film and photography work are only permitted on the booth area of the exhibitor of the trade fair. During closing times at night (period outside exhibitor opening times) an accompanying guard (EUR 27,60 plus VAT/hour) is required. Pharmacy The medical service in the first aid stations accepts your orders and prescriptions and forwards them to the nearest pharmacy. For same-day delivery, prescriptions should be submitted by 12:30. Depending on availability, you can conveniently collect your medication as of 16:00, without ever leaving the exhibition grounds. The first aid stations are located in the West and East Entrances and on the north side of hall C4. The first-aid stations are staffed when the respective entrances are open for a given event.
