Dr GVK Reddy shared the dais with the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr Devendra Fadnavis, Mr Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister of State for Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Mr Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways, Mr Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister for Railways and other dignitaries, in a panel discussion on Make in Maharashtra Laying the new game plan for success. Our Vice Chairman Mr Sanjay Reddy moderated an interesting session on Reviving and Strengthening the Road Sector in which the participants were Mr Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways, Mr Raghav Chandra, Chairman, NHAI, Mr R.C. Sinha, Advisor to Mr Gadkari, Mr Virendra Mhaiskar, Chairman IRB and other stalwarts from the Road Transportation sector. In his opening remarks, Mr Gadkari complimented Mr Sanjay Reddy and the GVK CSIA team for the wonderfully constructed Elevated Road that goes to T2, which drew a loud applause from all the participants. Mr Sanjay Reddy also made an exclusive presentation on the Impact of Design in Public spaces with specific reference to GVK CSIA s T2 at the India Design Forum which was very well appreciated by the huge gathering. a corporate e-zine GVK MIAL conducts Pulse Polio Immunization Drive GVK MIAL conducted a Pulse Polio Immunization Drive on 21 February, National Pulse Polio Immunization Day at GVK CSIA. The drive was carried out in association with Public Health Department of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM). The initiative was led by Dr Anand More, Head, Medical Services, MIAL. During this campaign, children aged below 5 years travelling through GVK CSIA were vaccinated. In the last Pulse Polio Immunization Drive conducted on 17 January, 410 children were immunized. Children receiving the pulse polio dose at GVK CSIA GVK KIAB welcomes QuikJet Cargo s inaugural flight GVK KIAB welcomed QuikJet (QO) Cargo s inaugural flight with a water canon salute on 16 February, 2016. QuikJet s crew, members from Sovika and Cargo team from BIAL were also present on the occasion. The 737-400F aircraft with a 19-tonne payload will operate in this domestic network between Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. The airline operates to GVK KIAB six times a week. First Responder Training at Shrinagar Hydro Electric Project a corporate e-zine The 330 MW Shrinagar Hydro Electric Project employees underwent a First Responder Training, conducted by experienced trainers from GVK EMRI, Dehradun. a corporate e-zine GVK EMRI- Meghalaya handled 1.3 lakh emergencies in seven years GVK EMRI- Meghalaya in its seven years of service has catered over 1.3 lakh emergencies and handled 19 lakh calls till date. During these seven years of glorious service, GVK EMRI has handled 1300 deliveries in ambulances. It has a fleet size of 47 ambulances spread across 42 locations with an average reach time of 16 mins in urban areas and 31 mins in rural areas. Kudos to the GVK EMRI team. Students and parents reach out to GVK EMRI Tamil Nadu counselors GVK EMRI- Tamil Nadu counselors have geared up to guide students and parents for the upcoming state board examinations. So far, over 3000 calls have been received and the counselors are doing their best to de-stress the needy.the anxiety levels are high during exams and thus a help from counselors matters a lot. The award was bestowed in recognition of GVK BIO s contribution towards Telangana s contribution towards Telangana s Haritha Haram Programme through a massive plantation drive which involved over 1000 GVK BIO employees and key government officials joining hands to plant 1400 saplings around GVK BIO s Nacharam and Mallapur campus.
