March 22nd Day #1 Flight: Maritimes to Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii Please see your individual flight itineraries attached to this tour itinerary. Meet your tour manager, at the Toronto International Airport. All group flights are from local departure cities direct to Toronto, with connecting service to Vancouver and Honolulu International. Please NOTE: all passengers are required to pay $26.25 for 1 st checked piece of luggage (up to maximum of 50lbs); second checked bag is $36.75 per pers. Additional fees apply for overweight bags. Carry-on luggage is free, with a maximum weight of 22lbs per bag. Visit www.aircanada.com for more details on luggage fees. Luggage payment is paid directly to Air Canada. Fees are charged on both outbound & return flights. Please refer to Hawaii group letter for meeting your tour manager. Once in Vancouver, be sure to have your *valid passport for U.S. Customs & Immigration. For all flights, be aware of rules concerning any liquids or gels you want to take on board. Do not pack prescription medication, jewelry, or travel documents in your checked baggage. Once in Honolulu, collect your individual group tagged baggage from the carousel, your tour manager will direct local representatives to load it on our coach (bag handling fee included). Board the coach for your complimentary transfer to the hotel. We have only a 25 minute drive from airport to the Courtyard Marriott Waikiki. Enjoy your drive into Waikiki - one of the most famous beach areas in the world! Our hotel is the fully renovated Courtyard by Marriott, within walking distance of Waikiki beach! We are expecting a 10:15 p.m. arrival (local time). Your tour manager will handle group check-in, have your bag sent to your room, and hand out your room card key for your deluxe accommodations - complete with refrigerator, microwave, free Wi-Fi and more! Fri. March 23rd Day #2 - Guided sightseeing tour - Historic Honolulu & Diamond Head Crater Enjoy your complimentary American plated breakfast this morning. Perhaps a slice of pineapple to go with that side of heaven? Meet the coach at 10:00 a.m. for our informative professionally-guided tour (3 hours) of Honolulu and the Waikiki area, featuring Diamond Head Crater (please note time climbing to the top of diamond head is not possible during our stop, you can walk at your leisure and our stop here will only be 30-40 min max and does not provide enough time to go to the top and back down), Honolulu's historic district, for an unobstructed view of 'Iolani Palace, the State Capitol, the King Kamehameha Statue, the National Cemetery of the Pacific, and the Honolulu Memorial. Arrive back at the hotel by approximately 1:30 pm., leaving you with time to relax before our Collins Tours Welcome to Hawaii Cocktail Reception scheduled from 5:45-6:45 p.m., local time. March 24 th Day #3 Set sail on the NCL Pride of America After another plated American breakfast (included) you have some free time before check out. Your tour manager will check out for you, unless you have charged something to your room (e.g. room service, movie rental). Any incidental charges are your expense. Please have your luggage outside your room by 9:30 a.m. and board our coach at 11:15 a.m. for our transfer to the cruise terminal. Time to embark on the second phase of this magical journey your Hawaiian Island Cruise aboard the NCL Pride of America. Transfer from the hotel to the cruise terminal, as well as baggage handling, is included. Your tour manager will provide you direction on where to check in with the cruise line and your bag will be sent to your stateroom (fee included). All cabins will be pre-checked in before arriving for convenience, all part of the Signature service at Collins Tours & Consulting Ltd. March 25 th Day #4 Maui Dock in Kahului, Maui by 8:00 a.m. Today meet your tour manager at the Pink Champagne Bar onboard the ship at 8:30 a.m. for your 8:45 a.m. **included private shore excursion Best of Maui excursion (approximately 6 hours in duration), a definite highlight of the trip! Tonight we have another private group cocktail reception on board the NCL Pride of America in the Pink s Champagne Bar at 5:30 p.m. followed by a group dinner in the Liberty Main Dining Room at 7:30 p.m. (included). Spend the evening getting reacquainted and talk about our plans for tomorrow! Overnight in port provides a special evening with amazing views of the Maui coastline! Refer to the ship s itinerary for entertainment on board your floating hotel. Mon. March 26 th Day #5 Maui Enjoy another day in Maui at your leisure. You have time to explore on your own or perhaps book a tee time at one of the local courses nearby! For those who wish to explore this island more thoroughly you can book shore excursions directly with the ship in advance or when you board. The ship sets sail tonight at 6:00 p.m. for The Big Island and the town of Hilo. Enjoy the ship s dining and scheduled entertainment. Tues. March 27 th Day #6 Hilo At 8:00 a.m., the ship is scheduled to dock in the town of Hilo, on the Big Island and is home to an active volcano! Enjoy time today on your own or choose to join us on our second optional private shore excursion (very limited availability, please register for this excursion by calling or emailing our office directly). Meet your tour manager at 8:30 a.m. in the Pink Champagne Bar for your 8:45 a.m. city tour of Hilo approximately 5 hours. Arrive early this morning at 7:00 a.m. in the town of Kona, located on the west side of the Big Island. Enjoy your day exploring the Kona area. Don t forget to find some of that gourmet coffee for another memorable moment and interesting entry for your travel diary! The ship sails again at 5:30 p.m., so please be back on board 2-hrs before departure. Refer to the ship s activities tonight for another magical evening in the Hawaiian Islands. Thurs. March 29 th Day #8 Kauai The ship arrives in Kauai at 10:00 a.m. Time to explore the island made famous by the Jurassic Park movie series. Today Collins Tours offers another private shore excursion (approximately 6-hrs) featuring some of the island s natural wonders, such as Waimea Canyon! Meet your tour manager at 8:45 a.m. in the Pink Champagne Bar for your 9:00 a.m. locally and professionally guided highlights of Kauai tour (Optional and extra charge; very limited seats available, please register for this excursion by calling or emailing our office directly). The ship remains in port this evening with more fabulous NCL entertainment and a tropical breeze to help mask the fading memories of snow banks and winter/spring back in the Maritimes! Fri. March 30 th Day #9 Kauai Time for an unforgettable journey as we sail along the Na Pali coast, in search of migrating humpbacks, during whale-watching season! Enjoy this morning at your leisure, perhaps book a morning shore excursion, or relax at the beach located within walking distance from our ship! The cruise line also offers free shuttle service from the pier to the beach for convenience! The ship departs the Island of Kauai at 2:00 p.m. and sets sail for Oahu. Tonight, enjoy a Collins Tours group dinner at 7:30 p.m. in the Liberty Main dining room with complimentary glass of wine or beer (included). Tonight we will also review our meeting times and procedure for disembarking the ship. Refer to ship s itinerary for evening entertainment options. Sat. March 31 st Day #10 Oahu Pearl Harbor-Waikiki Ship docks back in Honolulu at 7:00 a.m. Disembark at approximately 8:45 a.m. and step aboard our coach for Pearl Harbor and a selfguided tour of the USS Arizona Memorial (price included). You will enjoy this moving experience with actual video footage of the Pearl Harbour Invasion December 7, 1941. This footage will show you how things looked and felt during this very traumatic time in Hawaii. Then after the film has been shown board the shuttle to the USS Arizona Memorial. You will have some time to take pictures and reflect overlooking the sunken ship. After your experience board the shuttle back to the main land and enjoy some time walking around the grounds. You will also have time for a light lunch or snack (not included) during this time before returning back to our hotel the Courtyard Marriott Hotel. We will return to the Courtyard Marriott, early this afternoon approximately 2:45 p.m. (Transfer and bag handling fees included). Note: We have requested an early check in, however the official check in time is not until 3:00 p.m. If your room is not quite ready, your luggage can be stored at the hotel while you enjoy the hotel s amenities or explore the area. Perhaps a visit to that shop you frequented last week or some relaxing time at the heated pool, on site spa and saltwater whirlpool. It s all up to you during your free afternoon and evening in Hawaii!
Sun. April 1st Day #11-Guided Tour of Oahu After another complimentary American plated breakfast we will board our coach at 8:45 a.m. for a full day of guided sightseeing. Tour highlights include: Dole Plantation, with guided tour aboard the Pineapple Express Train (train ticket and admission included), photo opportunities at North Shore beaches (e.g. Sunset Beach, and Waimea Bay) where we hope to see surfers in those 30-foot swells, and a visit to Waimea Valley, a world-class botanical garden (entrance fee included). Be sure to head up to the majestic waterfall area for an amazing photo op. A small tram is on site to take anyone who needs assistance up to the falls (tram extra charge, not included). Take time to enjoy a bite to eat at the café before departing for our return travel back to the hotel (price not included). This afternoon we continue along the Kamehameha Highway, on the eastern shores of Oahu, for more stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the island s natural beauty. Return to the hotel and enjoy time to relax or explore on your own. Dinner is on your own this evening. Mon. April 2nd Day #12 - Free day Oahu A delightful American plated breakfast is included again this morning. Today is perhaps the day you have been waiting for, enjoying the day your way, with lunch and dinner at your leisure. Perhaps the day at the beach or shopping the many stores within walking distance from our hotel, or hop a shuttle and visit the Aquarium or the Zoo! Tues. April 3rd Day #13 Oahu - Germaine s Luau in evening Enjoy your complimentary American plated hot breakfast, followed by a day on your own. This evening is a special event Germaine s Luau, complete with authentic Hawaiian entertainment, refreshments, and food (includes dinner, drinks, entertainment and transfers). Meet Greg, and the rest of the group, at 4:15 p.m., on the Royal Hawaiian Avenue side of the Courtyard Hotel for your 4:30 p.m. sharp Luau transfer. The shuttle will also return you to this same area at the end of the evening (fee included). Wed. April 4 th Day #14 Last Full Free day in Oahu American plated breakfast is included again today. Enjoy another free day in Hawaii. Lunch is on your own today. Perhaps plan your final excursion on Honolulu or take time to reflect on a wonderful journey. This evening, meet your tour manager at the hotel for your Farewell group dinner located in the hotel with complimentary wine included. Thur. April 5 th Day #15 Return home Enjoy the hotel s American plated breakfast one last time before our late checkout of hotel. Please have your luggage ready for pick up inside your room by 11:00am. Check out of your room by noon and you are free to explore some more this afternoon. Not to worry your luggage will be stowed away with the concierge and there will be a complimentary room assigned for people to use for showering and changing before our departure to the airport. The day is free for you to explore in your own. Perhaps one last stroll on the strip? Meet back at the hotel and board the coach for your 7:00 p.m. airport transfer (price included).
