Rentals are for a 24 hour period unless otherwise noted. We request a minimum of 48 hours notice on all order changes. Rentals are not reserved until there is a credit card or check received and contract is signed. 50% non-refundable deposit is due with signed contract and the balance by check or credit card received one week prior to the delivery date. M/C and Visa are acceptable terms of payment. 4% surcharge on Credit Card payments. The Damage Waiver is available to customers who desire protection Bailey s Party Rentals Updated 6/14/2017 9

against accidental breakage or damage to rental merchandise. The fee for the Damage Waiver is equal to 10% of the bill before taxes, delivery or other additional charges. In order for the damage waiver to be in effect, all damaged and broken merchandise must be returned or the replacement cost will be charged for the missing items. Delivery rates are based on zip codes. We like to deliver the first business day before and pick up the first business day after your event. Deliveries are made to ground floor or within a reasonable distance of truck. Additional delivery fee to other than ground floor. Arrangements must be made at time of reservation. When pick-ups are made, tables, chairs and equipment must be stacked and ready at the same location where they were delivered. Equipment is usually picked up the day after the event excluding Sundays and holidays. Equipment being rented must be protected from weather at all times. This is the customer s responsibility. Extra charges will be applied to the customer in the event of damages due to abuse, loss, misuse, overload, negligence or equipment returned dirty. When renting linens, they must be returned dry to prevent mildew. Do not launder the linens. Please scrape food from plates and rinse them. Place the dishware and glassware into the boxes and crates in which they were delivered. When renting china and/or linens a 10% damage fee is required. If dishes/glassware is broken, please return what is salvaged for credit, otherwise replacement cost will incur. Rentals under $500.00 incur a delivery charge. Effective November 1, 2014, the minimum local delivery fee is $50.00. Due to the surge in fuel cost, fuel surcharges may apply to delivered orders. There is a set-up and knockdown fee for set up and take down of tables and chairs (1.00 per table,.50 per chair) Our equipment is clean and delivered in working condition. 1. This contract constitutes the ensure contract between Bailey s Party Rentals and the renter and no modifications shall be valid unless written or attached hereto and same are approved in writing by an officer of Bailey s Party Rentals. 2. Insurance, if desired by renter, must be obtained by him at hi expenses. Bailey s Party Rentals assumes no risk; and by acceptance of this agreement, the renter expressly releases Bailey s Party Rentals of and from any and all liability for any damages, injury, or loss to any person or goods which may arise from the rental and occupation of said tent or tents by renter and agrees to hold Bailey s Party Rentals harmless of any and all loss to damage by reason thereof. Bailey s Party Rentals assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any property placed in the tent and Bailey s Party Rentals is hereby released and discharged from any and all liability from any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property that may be sustained while in said tent, or tents, or at tent site. 3. By acceptance of this agreement, Renter agrees to assume all responsibility for damages to the tent or tents by reason of vandalism, negligence, theft, or any and all causes during the entire time of the tent rental including scheduled installation and removal as indicated on the front of the contract. 4. Bailey s Party Rentals assumes no responsibility for damage or repairs to tent site including asphalt, lawns, shrubbery, etc., caused by tent stakes or poles. 5. It is the responsibility of the renter to secure all necessary permits, licenses, etc. for the erection and installation of the aforementioned tents, light and dance floors, if they are required. 6. Renter acknowledges that in the course of installation or removal of said tent or tents, a vehicle may be required, at the discretion of a Bailey s Party Rentals representative, to operate on the site of such installation or removal and that Bailey s Party Rentals shall not be held responsible for any damages which might occur. 7. Bailey s Party Rentals shall not be liable in the event that any tent or tents should fall by reason of an act of God provided all reasonable precaution is exercised to prevent such occurrence. 8. The conditions, rules, and regulations printed herein are made a part hereof and incorporated herein and the renter agrees to be bound by each and every one of them and Bailey s Party Rentals shall have full power in the power of interpretation, amendment and enforcement of all said conditions, rules, and regulations. 9. The renter understands and acknowledges that tents are temporary, lightweight structures, and as such can become dangerous in the event of heavy rains, winds, snows, tornadoes, lightening, hail, hurricanes, and other difficult natural conditions that arise from time to time. The renter accepts these risks and agrees to hold Bailey s Party Rentals harmless from any loss, injury, or harm to persons or property while using said tent or tents in the event of dangerous weather or difficult natural conditions. 10. Renter understands that stakes are required to hold tents in place ad must be driven into the ground appropriately around the perimeter of the tent. Renter shall advise installation personnel of any underground wires, pipes, lines, utilities, septic tanks, and other known obstacles prior to installation. If renter lacks detailed information on such utilities, renter shall contact Bailey s Party Rentals at 301-475-2699 at least one week prior to ensure proper marking of utility lines. Renter assumes complete responsibility for any damages done by Bailey s Party Rentals in the course of normal tent installation should underground lines, utilities, etc. not be properly marked or indicated to personnel in advance of tent installation. Renter shall also hold harmless Bailey s Party Rentals for any individuals or Bailey s Party Rentals Updated 6/14/2017 11

vehicles running into, tripping over, driving over, or otherwise causing injury to themselves, others, or property on tent stakes, ropes, wires, or other parts of tent/tents. 11. Every effort will be made to deliver tents and equipment in accordance with client s wishes as regards to date and time; however, during periods of peak activity, this is not always possible. For a specific timed delivery and/or removal, add $200.00 during business hours, or $400.00 additional for 6p.m. 7a.m. 12. Deposits: 1/2 (one-half) non-refundable payment is due with contract. Full payment is due prior to or upon installation unless otherwise noted. Contracts cancelled 14 days or less prior to event are responsible for full payment as noted on contract. Additions/alterations to contract: all changes (with the exception of tents) to contract must be done two weeks prior to the event. Changes to numbers of tables/chairs must be made one week in advance of set up. Changes and/or additions made after the initial installation will be charged additional delivery fee and the cost of the items, plus 50%. Any changes in tent sizes will be based on availability and at discretion of Bailey s Catering Company. 13.
