See Pioneer Square and City Centre, the Financial District, the Waterfront, and take a trip to the top of the iconic Space Needle for a view of the city. Afterwards, we ll visit the historic Pike Place Market. This complex features fresh fruit, seafood, arts and crafts, street musicians, shops, and restaurants. Later, we ll enjoy a ride on the Victoria Clipper, a high-speed, passenger-only ferry to Victoria, British Columbia. The Clipper offers great onboard amenities as we cruise through Puget Sound and the Strait of Juan de Fuca on our way to Victoria s Inner Harbor. A local guide will join us as we tour Victoria this morning. Afterwards we ll pay a visit to the world famous Butchart Gardens. For more than 80 years this 50-acre showcase of horticulture has provided visitors with spectacular sights. We ll return to Victoria where we have the balance of the day to explore on our own. Private Cruise via the Chinook - San Juan Islands, WA Day 4 Wildlife Cruise Today we ll depart Victoria in style aboard the motor yacht Chinook. We ll spend two days exploring remote areas of the beautiful San Juan Islands in search of Orca, Humpback and Minke Whales, Bald Eagles, Harbor Seals, Dall s Porpoise, sea birds, and other wildlife. These magnificent animals are always a treat to behold in their natural environment. We ll sail to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, which will be our home for two nights. The rest of the afternoon is set aside to explore on your own. You can enjoy Friday Harbor or head to your hotel room for some relaxation. Tonight we ll eat dinner overlooking the Friday Harbor Marina and experience the best in Pacific Northwest dining. Watch boats come and go in the harbor while enjoying delicious food, a unique setting, and perhaps a beautiful sunset. Meals: B, L, D Day 6 San Juan Islands Tour / 4th of July Dinner We ll turn inland this morning and board a coach for a San Juan Island guided tour. With a wealth of local knowledge, our driver will share the stories of the people and history of the island. We ll visit the most extraordinary places on the island, including Lime Kiln State Park, Whale Watch Park, the Alpaca Ranch, English Camp, and San Juan Island National Historic Park. Afterwards, we ll re-board the Chinook to enjoy a freshly prepared lunch and begin the final leg of our voyage. Journey through channels and past islands not yet explored before arriving at the dock in Bellingham, WA. Transfer to our hotel for some time to relax. Tonight, our final outing on the Chinook is a cruise to Chuckanut Bay for a San Juan Cruises tradition, the famous Old Fashioned Cracked Crab Dinner. For the Grand Finale we ll work our way right into the heart of Bellingham Bay to enjoy front row seats for the annual Bellingham Bay 4th of July fireworks show. Meander past forest draped islands in waters that are home to whales, seals, porpoises, and other magnificent wildlife. Sea birds abound and the San Juan islands are home to more Bald Eagles than anywhere else in the lower 48 states. We ll arrive at a unique, horse-shoe shaped destination named Sucia Island State Park where we ll enjoy a picnic on the beach. Afterwards, you ll have the opportunity for short hike through the forest, some fossil hunting, or a walk along some of the most stunning shorelines in the Northwest. After our unforgettable visit on Sucia, the Chinook will continue the exploration of the northern San Juan Islands as it winds its way back to Friday Harbor.
