METALLIC CEA CEA Low fire Hazard Flexible conduit CONSTRUCTION: CEA is made from spiral wound, hot dipped galvanised steel core and contains a nylon cord packing. The smooth outer flexible thermoplastic polyurethane sheath extruded over the core is halogen free and flame retardant. This product has low smoke and low toxicity characteristics and acidic gases (hydrogen chloride, hydrogen fluoride and hydrogen bromide) are virtually eliminated as products of combustion. APPLICATION: Used in confined or enclosed areas where construction materials must have halogen free limited smoke, low flame spread and low toxic gas emission in event of fire. E.g. transit vehicles wiring harnesses, passenger rail cars, underground subway structures and tunnels.
