Because of Bar Gemels, Tax Day, and life, I cannot guarantee that I will have the updated ledger/bank balances by the meeting, but I will try. It appears we have $12.90 remaining on the coronets, which is incredible! We had a great response to our auctions, and at least two anonymous donations. The signer card has been updated. Page 5 April Business Meeting cont. Updated bar Gemels comp list was approved: The current Bard of the Summits Tina Empol, Sholeh of Susa. Chamberlain: 1) A great deal has been happening with baronial property this month. About half the shed's contents traveled to Bar Gemels and even more came back to it. A tentative review of the returns indicates all items are there, but I am going to return with my checklist later this week to do a quick comparison with what went out. Linens and hangings are being inventoried, repair and cleaned by Ainslee. 2) The barony's thrown weapons stand is currently unaccounted for as well as a collapsible lamp that was previously kept in the gate box. It is one of two-the first of which did break a year or so ago. Anyone that may have recently seen these and may know their location, please let me know. These were not found in our inventory in January. 3) I am working on safer storage for some of our more fragile items, such as the condiment cups, and may send a proposal to the finance committee this month. 4) There has been much discussion regarding whether or not we previously decided to repurpose the big archery backstops or if that discussion was regarding some foam archery targets. They are a challenge when storing, transporting and putting up. As I am no marshall, I discussed the issue with our archery marshall, Keziah, and Iurii Levchenich at Bar Gemels. Iurii's experienced opinion is that we need them if we ever choose to use Adair Park for Long & Short in the future as hay bales will not protect the other park users from stray arrows. I am working with Keziah and the owners of our archery practice site on finding a better storage set up and a better place to store the backdrops than the shed. 5) Hope to have a finalized inventory by next business meeting! Librarian: Nothing new to report with the library itself. I still can't make Monday meetings. Heavy Marshall: No injuries to report this quarter with just normal bruises and scrapes the extent of health issues. Weekly fighters have ranged from 3-7 depending on the week with multiple visitors from 3m and Adiantum. There has been some talk from multiple rapier fighters that they would like to have a baronial armoring night, I've encouraged this and agreed this will be fine to do at my house. No date is set for this as of yet. This will be my last full quarter as heavy marshal. His excellency Peder has agreed to take the job back on and the tentative hand off is at Egils. I will reach out to you after this goes to the barony and we have the paperwork all in order. Peder is currently the junior marshal and I have agreed to back him up as his junior until someone better can be found. That is all i have for right now, sorry for this not in the An Tir format however I cannot open that file and save it on this computer. Thank you for your understanding and your amazing service! Please if you see or are injured in fighting at an SCA event, report it! Rapier Marshall: Happily, there are no injuries or incidents to report. At Bar Gemels this weekend, there will be many things. Including the return of the Gryphon's Wing... We have been having our regular practices, Santinus assisted with a few of them, as I was unavailable for the evening. With Kenji as the go between with the loaner gear. We are in need of a new gear bag for the swords and masks. The current bag is finally ready to retire. Zen Warrior Armory - Large Team Gear Bag, This is basically the same bag we have, which has been in use for over 10 years. (I've been playing for that long, and it has been the gear bag, and it seemed a bit old then). The bag is 39.95. And not to sound like a broken record... Event and Demo season is upon us. If you wish to fight at demos or tournaments, you MUST be an authorized fighter. If you wish to marshal, come see us. You do NOT need to be a fighter, to be a marshal. But you do need to be a Member. Lists-VACANT: Alyna did heavy lists at BG. Rose did rapier. Target Archery: Nothing to Report - New practice schedule will be posted by next week. We have brand new archery marshal and I have moved from junior to senior. Practice now on Tuesday. Next one is the 26 th. Equestrian Marshall: Equestrian insurance was requested on 03/30/16. The request was processed on 04/05/16. I am unsure if the April practice date of 04/30/16 will be included, as I requested that she not assess the additional fee for "less than 30 days" and I have not received the equestrian insurance "rider" or

Page 6 April Business Meeting cont. document that lists the dates. I will be requesting reimbursement for the insurance fee of $50. The practice dates listed on insurance are as follows: 04/30/16 10am- 4pm -tentative, 05/07/16 10am- 4pm, 06/11/16 10am-4pm, 06/25/16 10am-4pm, 07/30/16 10am-4pm, 08/20/16 10am-4pm, No practice in September - Intentional!, 10/08/16 10am-4pm, 10/22/16 10am-4pm, 11/19/16 10am-4pm, 12/03/16 10am-4pm, I will request that the Web Minister update the equestrian practice information and list practice dates as well as inform the principality and kingdom equestrian officers so that they are able to update any websites or information listed there. Youth Combat Marshall-VACANT: Herald: No new registrations for our barony this month, but no returns, either. :) I've done some private consulting with various barony members. This month, I'll be presenting a flag of Radomir Kolekův's lovely coat of arms. Next month, I'll have one for Marcus Valerius Taurus, which will bring me to the end of my queue. That's all for this month! Expect much more next month, after Bar Gemels. :) Arts & Sciences: Due to the rescheduling of the last A&S, there wasn't one this reporting period, therefor I have nothing new to report at this time. Chronicler: Due to mundane demands, I have fallen terribly behind. I am now two Privys behind and last months meeting minutes were only just published. Grete Boke: VACANT Web Minister: I continue to update the website as needed. I am looking into other options for our web page (i.e. Wordpress, squarespace) to allow easier editing but have not picked an option yet. Chatelaine: TP had the monthly ceilidh on the 11th of this month. We have had an average of about 25 attending. The Barony had a "job Fair" to show folks what is required responsibilities for each office. HL Fortune is my Demo Deputy, did a demo last week in Albany. HL Duvessa, my Deputy, Stepped in at Ceilidh this month due to a family emergency.. I have received 1 email last month from newcomers, she stated that they live in Alsea, and will be attending events during the upcoming tourney season. Challenges have been overwhelming over these past few months, and modern life has become much busier. With that being said, I am notifying you that I am stepping down as TP Chateliane, effective immediately. I feel it is unfair to the newcomers, who have questions as well as the fine people of Terra Pomaria when I am unable to fulfill my duties as an officer. and I cannot devote enough attention to the office due to modern life dividing my attention. I am grateful to the people of Terra Pomaria for the opportunity to serve in this office, and I have learned a lot. Her Excellency, Ainslee is the contingency Chatelaine, and will be filling the office for the time being. My thanks again to everyone for welcoming me into the barony, and helping when, and wherever it was needed. Losier is interested in acting as deputy. DEMO Deputy: many demos coming: Missing email with details. Gold Key: I have two bins of Gold Key items and a portable closet for them. Gold Key was available at Bar Gemels and was used by 7 people. All the items signed out were returned, as well as a couple items that had been out on long term loan. I also have received several donations to Gold Key over the last week or so: belt; dress; and several items in various sizes including children's items (from Mhari). Will be going through them and seeing how they fit in with what we already have. Scribe: Scribal Night in April will be held Wednesday April 20th at the Ike Box Coffeehouse from 7-9pm. We will be working on note cards, and I have Principality as well as Kingdom charters. I continue to seek a deputy and eventual successor, feel free to ask me any questions you may have about the Office of Scribe. You do not have to be an artist to be Baronial Scribe so please please don't be intimidated. Past Events Bar Gemels: Clara - First of all I want to say we have an amazing barony!!! To everyone who helped with Bar Gemels, thank you! There are not words to describe how thankful I am to you all. Bar Gemels was a huge success, yes we had a few hiccups, and a large blunder on my part but overall it was a success. We had 180 people through gate, and a rough (very rough) profit of $1066. The Regalia auction brought in $701 in goods sold, and two anonymous

Page 7 April Business Meeting cont. donations totaling $70 for a grand total of $771. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone!! We will be having a wrap meeting Wednesday night at Broadway Coffee at 6:30pm to go over everything. Upcoming Events June Investiture: things are in flux. Meeting on Tuesday at 6pm 26 th. Working on getting link from Kingdom fixed. Archery fun shoot possibly throw weapons. Use horse to add to pomp and demo by those already on site. Long and Short: Insurance received, Event layout planned, Event map started, Met with site owner about work party needs, Will be planning a volunteer meeting for this month. Children need to be monitored as loose children and horses are a potential for injury. Doing an iron scribal. Pick up something and turn it back in for your chance at a prize. Need someone to volunteer to run gate. Martinmas: In the past month since the Council approved my bid Lord Kolekov has agreed to become my co-steward for the event and Her Excellency Ainslee has signed on as Feast Steward along with Mistress Mhairi mon myn Cymru. Dame Juliana van Aardenburg has agreed to be my liaison to the event site and is couriering a contract to the Seneschal post haste. It is my plan to have the site secured within the next few weeks, to announce it formally in court at Long and Short, and I will schedule the first volunteer meeting in July. Until then there is a Facebook Group called Martinmas Volunteers for those interested. Old Business Coronets: DONE! And paid for with $24 for the next regalia project; thrones?
