EVENT OVERVIEW Clariden Global hosted the 2 nd Digital Hospital of the Future, ANZ 2016 conference from 7 9 December 2016 in Sydney, Australia. The event was again a resounding success with more than 170 registered delegates, exhibitors, sponsors consisting of representatives from government authorities to C level executives from healthcare organizations. The Digital Hospital of the Future is now recognized as the leading conference where thought leaders meet to exchange ideas and innovative solutions, and share best practices to achieve greater productivity and efficiency for the Australian healthcare industry. Not only did Hon Jillian Skinner MP, NSW Minister for Health deliver the visionary keynote address and share her insights, the conference also featured high level panel discussions, networking and plenary sessions. Speakers shared their expert thoughts and presented case studies that are invaluable to the audience. Participants gained in depth knowledge and industrial best practices from the sessions. This year event witnessed a 140% increase on the number of sponsors and exhibitors from the previous year. Delegates benefitted from a wide range of displays featuring the latest technology and solutions that are able to assist their path to transform the healthcare ecosystem. From the discussion with exhibitors, they gained better insights into how technology can be used to improve patient care delivery and monitoring, and business performance in the healthcare industry.
