FITUR, one of the most important tourism fairs in the world.

PROGRAMME THURSDAY, 18 JANUARY 2018, MADRID, SPAIN The Forum is composed of 2 sessions. ROUND TABLES SESSION The round tables offer the opportunity to exchange views and generate an interactive debate which will yield valuable insights on how to increase the competitiveness and potential of African tourism at the global and regional levels. B2B MEETINGS SESSION The second session is devoted to business-to-business (B2B) meetings. This constitutes a strategic platform that puts African tourism project leaders and potential international partners in direct contact with one another. After the two sessions, a cocktail is offered by INVESTOUR to participants, and a luncheon for the African and Middle East Tourism Ministers is offered by IFEMA and UNWTO (only with invitation).

Both the morning session and the B2B meetings in the afternoon allow direct contact with the managers of specific projects and representatives from the tourism ministries from the African countries present at the fair. This set up is ideal for Spanish and international companies which are interested in entering the African market and also for those who want to get a general idea of the wide possibilities the African continent offers in the tourism sector.
