Try your Hand at Casting 4, 6, 7, 11, 13 April 11am, 1pm, 2:30pm (7th April 1pm only) 4 yrs+ 5 In Victorian times Coatbridge was known as the Iron Burgh producing iron products that were famous the world over. From boats to trains, beds and games, the Victorians made everything from iron using casting as a common technique. To honour this skill, we will teach you how to make a mould and cast a perfect reproduction of your chosen object. Then you can take the cast home to keep! Train Time 4, 5, 11, 12 April 10:30am 0-5 yrs Come along to All Aboard! - our terrific train exhibition - for a session of rail rhymes and stories that will bring the show to life! Fantasy Animation 4-5 April (two day workshop) 11am 2pm each day 8-13 yrs 15 Film history is awash with great fishy characters, such as Nemo and Little Mermaid. Now it s your chance to create your own aquatic character in this two day workshop. Guided by an animation artist, you will bring your fish character to life and complete the animation by adding sound. So dive right in! Superheroes Animation with Lego 10 & 12 April 11am 3pm 8-13 yrs 10 In this one day workshop you will explore the world of superheroes using Lego, led by an animation artist. During the day you will create your own backdrops and sets, adding characters, before bringing your story to life with animation sound and music. 11
