Here, during GlobalConnect the participants can hold conversations with Germany's export champions and top international experts, and meet new partners for projects abroad. 1,000 600 successful individual conversations invited guests at the prize awarding GlobalConnect Award With the GlobalConnect Award, companies from all over Germany are honoured for excellent performances in internationalisation in the categories of "Newcomer", "Hidden Champion" and "Global Player". In addition, an audience prize is also awarded; the winner is decided by means of online voting. Companies and organisations from all sectors with headquarters in Germany can apply for the GlobalConnect Award. The prize-giving ceremony for the GlobalConnect Award will take place on 26 October 2016 at the evening reception of the state government at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre.
