Barcelona: 9h30min journey with LD-AVE (you have to change trains mid-way). There are two trains per day, one leaving at 5:15 and another one leaving at 7:48. Tickets are approx. 60 /one way. Madrid: 5h journey with ALVIA (the fastest train). There are two trains per day leaving from Madrid-Chamartin Train Station, one at 9:15 and the other one at 15:00. Tickets are approx. 20 (but you have to book in advance, otherwise prices increase to around 50 ).
