Mr Daniele Bozzolo, Head of Export Asia and South Africa as well as Vice President of Sales & Business Development remarked: The Korean market is important for Ansaldo STS. Last year, orders from Korea were almost 10 percent among all Ansaldo STS orders worldwide. We ve been working in Korea now for over 25 years, supplying our automatic train control system and signalling equipment for the high speed lines in the country. Ansaldo STS has been only known for supplying some parts for the overall signalling system for high speed lines, but we can also supply other sub systems in the future based on different technologies for new high speed lines. This is the second time Ansaldo STS has exhibited at RailLog Korea and we are satisfied with our exhibit activities at the fair, making contacts with important existing customers and potential clients. It gave us the opportunity to branch out in new directions for future projects in the industry. One of the reasons why Thales continues to be an exhibitor is to meet its clients. Mr Alan ATAD, Business Development Manager of Thales Canada said: Specialising in urban transportation signalling systems for metro lines, we ve already put together three major subway systems in Korea. The Busan-Gimhae line, Sinbundang line and Incheon line are equipped with our Thales signalling system. And, we ve cooperated with many companies like Hyundai Rotem and various other companies in Korea. RailLog Korea is a good event for us, and this is a good place to come and meet customers that we ve become acquainted with over the last few years. First time exhibitor, Schlemmer Korea, specialises in connection, protection and mechatronic systems. Mr Nobert Hausfelder, Director
