Staff Ms Wardle Trip Leader, German speaker Mr Subires Deputy Leader Mrs Bhurra First Aid Dr Cannadine

Pocket Money Students will be responsible for their own spending money for this visit; we recommend around 70 and some money (pound sterling) for the journeys.

Luggage, Clothing & Equipment CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT Students must be able to carry their own luggage and please ensure all luggage is named. Do not put medication required for the journeys in hold luggage. Remember to check if you need to carry a doctor s note with any medicines being carried in hand luggage. The following items are essential: Sensible shoes Waterproof Hygiene products, e.g. soap, shampoo Pen and paper

Luggage, Clothing & Equipment Other equipment, clothing and provisions: Casual clothes (the weather can be varied, students should bring suitable clothing for bad as well as good weather check online for the weather forecast). Remember, this is not a fashion show. No crop tops or very short shorts. Alarm clock Plastic bags for dirty clothes Adapter for continental sockets (if bringing electrical equipment such as a hairdryer). It is sensible to liaise to bring one hairdryer per room.) Students may bring mobile phones and other personal items but they are responsible for their safe keeping at all times and are taken at your own risk as we cannot guarantee the safekeeping of these items whilst we are away. No external speakers will be permitted at any time including at the accommodation. Students will also be asked to turn off any noisy games for a period of quiet during the night. Students will be expected to sleep during this time.

First Aid & Medicines A supply of paracetamol, anti-histamine and travel sickness tablets will be taken. Your child may only be given this medication if have ticked the appropriate sections of the Final Consent & Medical Information Form. Students are responsible for taking their own medication as required all medication taken must be recorded on the Final Consent and Medical Form and students must inform staff if any medication needs to be taken. Students who have medical Care Plans copies of these will be taken on the visit. Parents will be contacted as necessary. School Travel Insurance Chubb European Group Ltd Policy UKBOAC74919

Behaviour & Expectations Discipline and respect for others is of utmost importance. Student rooms must not be regarded as social areas there is plenty of room in the accommodation where students can sit and chat. In the interests of the safety, welfare and enjoyment of everyone, we would ask you to observe the following guidelines on supervision: The Party Leader is in Loco Parentis at all times and has ultimate sanction to withdraw children at any time from the programme. Students are required to adhere to the Pupil Code of Conduct which has been signed. Failure to re-join the group at specified times during the visit will be treated as a serious issue. AN EDUCATIONAL VISIT Students are asked to bring pen and paper. Students will be encouraged to practise their language skills. They will also complete some written work during their visit. Appreciating a different culture is also part of the educational experience of the trip. Students should be considerate and polite when encountering things which they consider to be different. In particular, we would ask all students to try the food which is provided for them. It appears very rude to return large amounts of food uneaten. The trip is also a good social experience for the students and its success depends on strong teamwork. Students as well as adults are expected to contribute to this. We cannot afford selfishness and we can only do things quickly, efficiently and safely if the whole group works as a unit. SHOPPING students may be allowed free-time in shopping areas. students must remain in groups of a minimum of 4. students will be made aware of where a responsible adult can be found at all times in case of any problems. students will also be given a LOST CARD that advises the Trip Leader s mobile number for use in emergencies only (in case of getting lost or accidents).
