CAMP FORMS CF-1 Preparing for camp means preparing for a great and exciting summer. It also means being sure that you have all of the proper forms completed by the time you reach camp. This section should contain all of the forms necessary for your week at camp. These forms can also be found on the Camp-Master website (many of them in fillable PDF format). They can also be found on the Long Beach Area Council website. Please be sure to indicate the number of scouts that you expect to participate. Please remember that while we will strive to meet your requests, we might not be able to meet your first choice for these events: we may need to adjust or moderate your requests to ensure that all troops/patrols have opportunities to participate in these adventures. You will be notified of any schedule adjustments when you arrive at camp. In addition, your schedule is not permanent. As the week progresses, you can come to the Program Office to make changes as your week continues.
CF-10 HONOR PATROL AWARD The heart of scouting is the patrol. Camp is a great time to strengthen your patrol s unity and skills. This award may be earned by any patrol attending a summer session at Camp Tahquitz and completing the following requirements. PART 1. COMPLETE ALL EIGHT Camp as a patrol. Camp Host Nature Director Scoutmaster Scoutmaster All Patrol members wear the Scout uniform on arrival and at campfires. All patrol members perform a pre approved Good Turn Service Project or participate in a conservation project of at least one hour. Have each patrol member below the rank of Tenderfoot complete all the requirements for Tenderfoot except for Requirement 0B. Have each patrol member above the rank of Tenderfoot complete requirements for Second or First Class. Show Scout Spirit at all times in camp. Have a Patrol Flag Create a written list of possible patrol activities or goals for the year. PART II COMPLETE SIX OF THE FOLLOWING For patrol dining troops, cook as a patrol. For central feed, sign up as a service patrol for a day. Participate in the camp wide games. Aquatics Nature Director Craft Lodge Trail Guide Trail Guide Participate in the Water Carnival Pick up one 0 2 gal bag of trash on camp trails and from outside the campsite. Bring to the Nature Center, and then the camp s trash dumpster Participate in the Patrol Flag competition. You may have either a pre made flag, or a flag made at camp. Participate in a commissioner area troop campfire. Take a day hike of five miles as a patrol Participate in a Wrangler or Bike overnighter. Trail Guide Go on an overnight camping trip in the San Gorgonio Wilderness. This form can be obtained from the or your. It should be kept by the Patrol Leader and taken to the various activities throughout the week where the signature of the responsible staff member can be obtained. CF-11 HONOR TROOP AWARD This award may be earned by any troop attending a summer season at Camp Tahquitz. The Senior Patrol Leader should turn it into the. Since an honor troop is made up of honor patrols, items in bold italics requirements from the Honor Patrol Award. PART 1. COMPLETE ALL NINE. Conduct at least one Patrol Leaders Council while at camp. Create a written list of goals and projects for the year. Camp Host Wear Scout uniform on arrival, and at campfires. Have all Scouts below the rank of Tenderfoot complete all of Tenderfoot except for Requirement 10B. Show Scout Spirit at all times in camp. Have at least half of the troop's patrols earn the Honor Patrol Award. Submit the Troop's program two weeks prior to arrival at camp. Arrive at camp with a completed tour permit Have at least 1 leader attend the campwide adult meetings. Have your SPL help host a campwide game or other inter troop activity (specified by commissioner). PART II COMPLETE FIVE OF THE FOLLOWING. Have all patrols participate in the water carnival.
