TOP SHELF Keep up the good work!!! KCTL Meeting Minutes: Meeting Minutes January 18th, 2017 Village Pub of Silver Lake 24 Members in attendance. Guest Speaker None Treasurer s Report Laurie Weis has the treasurer report available. Saferide Report We need to remind our staff about Operator Responsibility. We have to pay attention to how much we are serving our customers. Discussion- Judi discussed membership we currently have 72 members. Rich talked about legislative. The Saferide Bill was passed which is a big win for us. This means any funds leftover from the state we would be able to use for Saferide advertisement. He also discussed the barns, and wineries and breweries. The 2018 1st & 9th Golf Outing will be May 21st 2018 at Kenosha Country Club. Legislative Day is March 6th. Please try to make a point to go to this. Very important to show how strong our organization is. We will be getting a bus for anyone that wants to ride on the bus. We can t forget being a member of the Tavern League not only has the obvious perks like Saferide and information on our businesses and what s going on in the legislature, but without us members we have no organization which means no voice in the capital when there are important issues that affect our businesses. Discussed fishing derby. Tickets are available if anybody wants any to sell contact Jen at Local Folks. Spring Conference will be at Crown Plaza in Milwaukee April 9th 12th Nominations for KCTL board will be open at next meeting for the April election. We need more advertisement in newsletter. Let your friends and service people know it is only $50 for a year, it s great to advertise your bar or restaurant, even specials you might have going on. Good and Welfare Raffle: Winner for January is Thirsty Horse NOT PRESENT! Next month will be $550.00. Meeting adjourned. February 16th meeting at Rock Bar in Powers Lake. March 16th meeting will be at Benders. Dave s Saloon won a free membership in the quarterly drawing from selling tickets! Queen of Hearts drawing winners won $125 and no one hit Queen of Hearts so next month will start at $132. There will be a copy of the rules and requirements to play at each meeting. 2 KCTL KCTL KCTL KCTL KCTL KCTL KCTL KCTL
