On the 5 th January 2015 between 1917hrs and 1940hrs suspects unknown have thrown bricks at a lounge window in Dart Close, Witham, causing it to smash through the double glazed glass. Overnight on the 5 th of January, suspects unknown have broken into a Vauxhall Nova in Trafalgar Court, Braintree. Once inside they have hotwired vehicle. They were prevented from taking the vehicle as it had no battery. Two suspects were detained by two local Police Community Support Officers after breaking into a premise on Freebournes Industrial Estate, Witham. A 19 year old male from Maldon, and a 38 year old from Maldon were arrested for theft offences. A shed was broken in to overnight on the 9 th January 2015 in Observer Way, Kelvedon. Suspects have forced the door by bending the bolt. It is unknown what has been stolen at this stage. Also in the early hours of the 10 th January 2015 an insecure vehicle parked in Observer Way was searched by suspects but nothing was removed.
