15:00 15:30 Coffee break ATFM in APAC DAY 1 MONDAY, 20 NOVEMBER 2017 (continued) The central session of the symposium. The objective of the symposium is to support local implementation of ATFM. How can aviation move forward faster and further in the region that experiences the fastest growing rate ever? How do projects such as NARAHG, Multi Nodal come together while significant national efforts are being made? 15:30 17:00 Mervyn Fernando, Technical Expert, Member ANC, Delegation of Singapore to ICAO Sylvester Israel, (TBC), Director, ATFM India Piyawut Tantimekabut, Air traffic management network manager, AEROTHAI, and Hermizan Jumari, Head of ATM Operations Planning, Civil Aviation Authority Singapore Raphael Guillet, Chief, ICAO Asia Pacific Regional Sub office 19:00 21:00 Dinner reception hosted by CAAS Gardens of the Bay End of Day 1 ICAO ATFM GLOBAL SYMPOSIUM 20 22 November 2017 www.icao.int/meetings/atfm2017 2

LONG RANGE ATFM DAY 2 TUESDAY, 21 NOVEMBER 2017 ATFM is not an activity that can only be envisaged locally. Any ATFM measure, no matter how local, will impact operations of the neighboring units. The ripple effect is a harsh reality of ATFM. This needs to be recognized and integrated, learning from the experience of all previous implementations. From that, a point can be made related to what is needed in relation to what is available. How much of a game changer can the availability of worldwide flight position information be? 09:00 10:30 Rosly Saad, Director Air Traffic Services, Civil Aviation Authority Singapore Brian Flynn, Head Network Management Operations, NM directorate, EUROCONTROL Piyawut Tantimekabut AEROTHAI Ken Mclean, Regional Sales Director, AIREON Paddy Goodall, ATM Network Service Manager, and Dr. Jesper Bronsvoort, Network strategy and development manager Airservices Australia 10:30 11:00 Coffee break ATFM and CONTINGENCY The session will speak to the increasing use of ATFM in case of disruption and of contingency situations, whatever their nature. The cases of numerous major disruptions makes a compelling case for ATFM. Understanding how powerful ATFM can be, in situations of crisis, is essential to foster implementation. Joe Sultana, Director Network Manager, EUROCONTROL 11:00 12:45 Greg Byus, Manager, CDM and International operations, FAA Toshiya Shigenobu, Special assistant to the Director ATC division, JCAB Brian Flynn, Head Network Management Operations, NM directorate EUROCONTROL Hermizan Jumari, Head of ATM Operations Planning, Civil Aviation Authority Singapore, and Peter Chadwick, Chairman, ICAO APAC ATFM steering group. ICAO ATFM GLOBAL SYMPOSIUM 20 22 November 2017 www.icao.int/meetings/atfm2017 3

12:45 13:45 Lunch break DAY 2 TUESDAY, 21 NOVEMBER 2017 (continued) ATFM and AIRPORT OPERATIONS Learning from places where ATFM and Airport CDM (A CDM) are integrated, the session will showcase how beneficial that integration can be when it is well done. ATFM and A CDM can exist without one another. However, they cannot operate independently from one another. What are the key elements to ensure that airports operations and flow management operate in a consistent manner? 13:45 15:15 Hai Eng Chiang, Director APAC Affairs, CANSO Shane Sumner, Regional Officer, ICAO Asia Pacific Regional Office Roger Lau, ATC Manager (ATM Operations Systems), Civil Aviation Authority Singapore Mikateko Chabani, ATFM Manager, ATNS South Africa Frederik Lindblom, Sales Director, SAAB ATM Asia Pacific 15:15 15:45 Coffee break INFORMATION EXCHANGE As a follow up of all previous sessions, the session will focus on information exchange to enable the previous ATFM functions. The session will speak to the importance of methods to overcome the reluctance to exchange information that is often quoted as an impediment. What do Information management and exchange models mean for ATFM? Stuart Ratcliffe, Director Business Development ATM/ATFM, Metron Aviation 15:45 17:15 Kapri Kupper, Global Operations Lead, FAA John Moore, Assistant Director, IATA, Shane Sumner, Regional Officer, ICAO Asia Pacific Regional Office Amornrat Jirattigalachote, Executive Strategic Planning Officer (Engineering), AEROTHAI, and David Leow, Head, Air Traffic Management Systems Engineering Development, Civil Aviation Authority Singapore, CAAS ICAO ATFM GLOBAL SYMPOSIUM 20 22 November 2017 www.icao.int/meetings/atfm2017 4

End of Day 2 PERFORMANCE DAY 3 WEDNESDAY, 22 NOVEMBER 2017 Making a case for ATFM, or identifying how ATFM can improve ATM performance documenting the performance with measured indicators will make for stronger business cases when considering implementation. It will also foster implementation as it will provide quantifiable and measurable evidence of the benefits of ATFM. 09:00 10:30 Sandile Maphanga, Senior Manager ANS, Civil Aviation Authority, South Africa Sugoon Fucharoen, AEROTHAI, and Paddy Goodall, Air Traffic Management Service Manager, Airservices Australia Stuart MacBride, Future ATM and Network Service Manager, UK NATS Greg Byus, Manager, CDM and international Operations, FAA Shane Sumner, Regional Officer, ICAO Asia Pacific Regional Officer 10:30 11:00 Coffee Break ATFM SYSTEMS: THE BACKBONE What support can industry offer, both for present operations, but also looking ahead, for future operations. Can systems be the bridges that link ATFM, airport and en route operations? What is needed to make the best possible use of the systems? When considering ATFM systems, what are the essential questions that need to be answered? 11:00 12:45 Brian Flynn, Head Network Management Operations, NM directorate EUROCONTROL Stuart Ratcliffe, Director Business Development ATM/ATFM, Metron Aviation Todd Donovan, Vice President of Strategy and Marketing for ATM, THALES Toshiya Shigenobu, Special Assistant to the Director, ATC Division, JCAB and Takeshi Narioka, Deputy Manager NTT DATA Greg Byus, Manager, CDM and International operations, FAA ICAO ATFM GLOBAL SYMPOSIUM 20 22 November 2017 www.icao.int/meetings/atfm2017 5

12:45 13:45 Lunch INNOVATION DAY 3 WEDNESDAY, 22 NOVEMBER 2017 (continued) Present a not so ordinary perspective on ATFM, out of the box. The ATM world is changing, and ATFM in 15 years will probably be completely different. How can a legacy sector such as ATFM embrace innovation, harness change and prepare for it? 13:45 15:00 Stephen P. Creamer, Director, Air Navigation Bureau, ICAO Stephane Durand, CEO, DSNA SERVICE Dr. Lixia Song, MITRE Asia Pacific Singapore Brian Flynn, Head Network Management Operations, NM directorate, EUROCONTROL Trevor Kistan, Research & Technology Manage,THALES 15:00 15:30 Coffee Break WRAP UP and NEXT STEPS Looking back at the discussions the session will look at the key points and the next steps 15:30 16:30 Panel discussion ICAO ATFM GLOBAL SYMPOSIUM 20 22 November 2017 www.icao.int/meetings/atfm2017 6
