Monday Please note the difference in departure times for trip 1 and 2 Trip 1 Mon 10 th July 05:50 Meet at school, luggage to be loaded onto the coach. 06.20 Depart School, proceed to Folkestone. Trip 2 Mon 17 th July 05:20 Meet at school, luggage to be loaded onto the coach. 05.50 Depart School, proceed to Folkestone. 13.20 Check-In at Eurotunnel Terminal, Folkestone. 14.20 Shuttle departs 15.55 Arrival in Calais, group to proceed to Le Touquet 17.30 Arrive in Le Touquet. Check in at Hippotel. PM Evening meal in the hotel followed by evening at leisure
Tuesday AM Breakfast. 10.00 The group will join the coach and proceed to Airon- St-Vaast 10:30 Visit to Snail farm - Les Escargots du Bocage PM Visit to the coast to have lunch. 15.00 Visit to Montcavrel Goat Farm 17:00 Return to the hotel for evening meal. Coach use ends. PM Evening at leisure.
Wednesday 09.00 Check out of hotel after breakfast 10:00 Visit to Boulangerie Le Fournil, (Magnier Romain) 11.00 Re-join the coach and proceed to Auchan. Free time for shopping/ lunch. 14.00 Transfer to Calais 14:20 Check-in at Eurotunnel terminal Calais. 15.20 Shuttle departs 14:55 Arrival in UK, onward travel. 20:00-22:00 Approximate arrival back to School to be confirmed on route.
What to take Spending money in Euros (money belt?) Spending money in Sterling for service station/ferry Trip booklet with emergency contact details Camera (optional) Mobile (a cheap one if you have it) Towel/toiletries Packed lunch/snack for journey there Comfortable shoes Light rainwear Sun cream and a hat for hot weather. Plan for cold weather- layers. Adaptor plug Leave space for anything you may buy! (Don t bring your ipad!)
Money Souvenirs Own spending money- food on the way there and back. No limit but pupils responsible for own money.
Medicines Staff cannot give medication without parental consent. Medical attention in France, written permission is required. Please ensure you have completed the reply slip about regarding medical treatment in France. Staff cannot buy medication for students Staff can look after medication, which must be clearly labelled with child s name and dosage instructions and be accompanied by a form as above Please read and return the attached letter regarding medicines.
Existing medical Issues It is essential you make us aware of any existing medical condition or injury your child may have prior to departure. If there is anything at all, which is unlikely to be on the school s data bank, it is your responsibility to inform the trip leader as soon as possible, in order for us to make certain that all students are fit to travel. There will be a fair amount of walking once in France as part of the normal daily activities, so sensible footwear is essential!

Expectations Be on time. Listen carefully to instructions. Stay in groups of at least four at all times. Your teachers should know where you are at all times. Contact trip leader/teacher if you have a problem. Remember you are representing the school. Follow the rules set for the place you are visiting. Don t be flashy with money or valuables Demonstrate excellent behaviour at night, respecting other guests! Tell us if you re worried!

Pupil Rooms Single sex rooms. Towels and soap need to be brought Staff rooms made clear to pupils Allotting rooms- this will be sorted out in a meeting with staff when rooming is received from the travel company. Rooms are normally for 4 students, but sizes do vary. Be prepared to be flexible.
Banned Items You may not buy or use: Cigarettes Alcohol Drugs Toy guns / swords Explosives / fireworks Laser pens / Laser key rings Knives / Weapons Anything else that is dangerous or illegal Don t bring your ipad! If unsure about something please ask.
Next steps Ensure medical info is up to date with school. Copies of passport and EHIC to trips and visits box. Originals passport and EHIC brought on the morning of the trip- otherwise you can t travel. Final payments made if not yet done so. Await info on roomings.
