Services generally run every 10 minutes Monday to Friday, 20 minutes Saturday and 30 minutes Sunday and Public Holidays. TransitGraphics has been involved in this project from its conceptual stages assisting in the development of the name, logo and associated branding for the GO services. Pocket timetables, network guides and bus stop timetables carry the branding where appropriate. Plinth bus stops have been installed at major stops and include comprehensive service information. Similarly, integrated signage has also been produced for the first time for Glenorchy, Metro Springfield and Hobart City Interchanges that include route and timetable information along with network maps. All other bus stops in the corridor have been updated with new flag signage. Metro Tasmania also took the opportunity to revise all other timetables in Hobart to reflect operational changes and current traffic conditions. thirty timetables in total were updated and designated wheelchair trips have been reintroduced to assist passengers. indesign: New Sydney Metro timetables As part of the October timetable changes for Greater Sydney s trains, buses and ferries, Transport for NSW (TfNSW) developed a number of new templates for the provision of timetable and route information to the public. TransitGraphics was commissioned to create the new timetable formats for printed timetables and bus stop information. The timetables now have a common format theme of blue (as applied to the buses), with a new mapping style similar to the Melbourne transport maps. Approximately two-thirds of all printed bus timetables across Sydney were changed to the new format. Over 170 printed timetables were produced by TransitGraphics along with over 920 bus stop displays. TfNSW has also been implementing a new Hop brand for all transport modes, including colour mode pictograms for trains, buses, trams and ferries.

indesign: TransLink timetables TransitGraphics were contracted to overhaul, by way of redesign and new timetable templates, TransLink s outer Brisbane and South East Queensland timetables. They all now have a common format colour of green for buses to fall in line with the new mode colouring system; maroon for trains; blue for ferries and gold for the new light rail opening on the Gold Coast next year. The timetables also have lettered timing points to assist in finding destinations and the maps feature an improved map style that offer commuters clearer bus route information. The Ipswich region is the first to get the new formatted timetables. Timetables for the Gold Coast, Logan, Moreton Bay and Redlands region will be implemented early in the new year.

indesign: AAA Star Rating booklet TransitGraphics was given the task to design and print manage the AAA Star Rating booklet. This booklet covers information on the current condition of Australia s major highways and the amount of money that needs to be allocated to better these figures. One of the best features within this booklet are the maps of Australia as a whole and each State with colour co-ordinated lines to show the star rating of each section of highway. This booklet is mainly for the information of Australian politicians who may be inclined to better their local area of road systems but, at the same time, for the public to raise awareness that some of our major highways throughout Australia are in potential need of development and repair. indesign: Adelaide Metro Slatwall display board 20 has seen Adelaide Metro change from their original geographic style map to a new simplified spider map. Adelaide Metro wanted the input of commuters of their recent use of spider maps and, as a result, asked TransitGraphics to design a large poster to generate feedback on whether the spider map is a helpful change to the mapping. Survey promotion poster Adelaide Metro requested TransitGraphics to design an A4 promotional poster guiding the public to an online-based survey to gain feedback about their Light City Buses service. To get the public s attention, Adelaide Metro announced that, When you complete the survey, you would be in with the chance to win an ipad or iphone for a 5 minute survey. Why wouldn t you? The initial idea was to keep the style based around their Connect and Go theme but to also give it some standout qualities to attract the public s attention. inprint: Dion s brochure To celebrate 90 years of service, Dion s Bus Service asked TransitGraphics to design a timeline brochure, highlighting how Dion s Bus Service have developed from 1923 to the present day. inprint: ACTION Christmas Holiday bus timetable Once again, ACTION will run a reduced timetable at the end of December 20 with a special network operating on Christmas Day. The Christmas Holiday Bus Timetable has been produced this year as an 84 page A5 book detailing all services for this period. This includes an index listing each route and any associated changes, maps and timetables for the Christmas Day network and timetables for regular weekday services where temporary reductions have been made.

inweb: Entertainment Tours website To make the public more aware of their services, Entertainment Tours had their styling and layout updated on the Coastal Liner website. The new website has a tour booking function enabling customers to purchase tickets online for upcoming events. Check the updated website by going to www.entertainmenttours.com.au inweb: Metro-Link Sydney website Metro-Link has had their website redesigned by TransitGraphics. Metro-Link is another website that has been optimized to be viewed across all media platforms. You can check out the website at www.metrolink.com.au inweb: Transit Systems Sydney website The new bus operator for Sydney Region 3, Transit Systems, website has been developed using modern design and techniques for the web. The website has been optimized to be viewable from all platforms, PC, tablet and mobile phone. This will allow users to get information much easier with the convenience of using their preferred choice. View their website at www.transitsystems.com.au/sydney

inprint: Queensland Rail broadsheets Adventures in Queensland Queensland Rail commissioned TransitGraphics to create a number of station-based timetable concepts for their long distance train services. TransitGraphics made this as simple and easy as possible for all concerned - both first time travellers and the more frequent traveller. The chosen design combines services running in the same direction in the one timetable, usage of the widely popular line map styling and a new colour co-ordination system to match their other resources. inprint: Travelways Sydney & Surrounds Day Excursions brochure Travelways, the student learning experience co-ordinators, recently released a 20 page full colour brochure listing the premier educational excursion destinations in Sydney and surrounding areas. The brochure aims to promote the fleet and travel planning capabilities on offer with detailed activity descriptions, complementary photographs and a quotation request form for prospective customers. Distributed to teachers of K-12 students, the brochure offers a handy reference of all Sydney-based venues offering curriculum based activities and attractions. With venues including Luna Park, Taronga Zoo, Jenolan Caves and Royal Botanic Gardens, there is a plethora of quality hands-on entertainment on offer. indesign: ACTION Network 14 community consultation ACTION, in conjunction with the Territory and Municipal Services Directorate of the ACT Government, are currently undertaking a review of all bus services. To promote the review to passengers and to seek feedback, a consultation brochure was produced including maps and frequencies of all regions in Canberra showing the proposed bus routes. An integrated network map and combined frequency table was also produced for display at major bus stop shelters throughout the ACT. Network changes are scheduled for implementation in 2014 following an analysis of the community consultation.

Sydney Bus Show TransitGraphics had an extremely successful stall at the Sydney Bus & Coach Show this year. We distributed many show bags that included, amongst other goodies, cardboard models and sweets. Our new lanyards were on show, along with cardboard models, timetables and diecast model buses. The launch of our new bus model, Brisbane Transport MAN 18-310, was also a big hit with enthusiasts and the general public. inprint: Sunshine Coast Public Transport Guide TransitGraphics was commissioned to update the existing public transport guide for the Sunshine Coast Region. This material is an essential information item for residents and visitors to find their way around the Coast using public transport. The Sunshine Coast regional area has experienced a great deal of growth in the recent past and, to ensure public transport demands are met, the local government has worked, delivered and created a new network that is easier to use. TransLink, with its delivery partner Sunbus, is the major player in the rollout of a comprehensive transport network to provide better connections between key centres and more direct local connections to support local travel patterns. Other transport adjustments were also introduced by Glasshouse Country Coaches, Kangaroo Bus Lines for the railbus service and an additional fifth route of Flexilink by Sunshine Coast Regional Council. Highlights of the new network include: a new Maroochydore bus station opened in late 20 better connections to train services simple, direct and frequent services improved services for tertiary students better services in growing local communities. For more information about the Sunshine Coast Public Transport Guide, visit the council s website at www.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au
