Three Exciting Camp Fair Options 1. International Camp Fair Trips For over 30 years, CCUSA has been hosting exciting camp fairs all over the world. By learning more about the applicants and their culture first-hand, you can ensure selection of the most suitable staff for your camp. All CCUSA Camp Fair trips include: Individualized trip planning assistance A CCUSA representative from the US office who will travel internationally with your group International flight and internal transfers/ transport* 2. Customized Hiring Trips If your schedule does not allow you to attend one of the CCUSA fairs or if you wish to hire a large number of staff from a country where we do not host a job fair, we are happy to discuss a customized hiring trip for you. What options are available to my camp? All camps who have worked with CCUSA for at least one year (including a summer season) or more, are invited to attend a camp fair. Depending on your CCUSA Loyalty Rewards level, you will be able to register for one or more of our international camp fairs. While we would love to host all of our camps at these events, venue space is limited in each city. Due to the popularity of the CCUSA Camp Fairs, spaces fill quickly. Early registration is important to secure your space on a trip. Advanced registration is given to Diamond and Platinum level camps in advance of general registration.. Camp Fair Registration and Travel How Do I Register? Advanced registration will open for Diamond & Platinum level camps on August 1st, 2017. Registration for camps on any other level will open on August 8th. Space on trips is limited and filled on a first come, first serve basis! To secure your spot on a CCUSA Camp Fair, complete the registration form online at www.campdirectorsfairs.com Once your registration form has been received, CCUSA will send you a confirmation email. Any applicable camp fair trip fees and any other outstanding CCUSA balances must be paid in full by December 12, 2017 in advance of your participation on the trip. Camp Fair Travel As part of your participation on a CCUSA camp fair, we provide your international flights (*this does not apply to the Down Under camp fairs). In order to receive your free flight, the following conditions apply: You must book your flights through Skytours, our preferred travel agent. Should you have any flight delays or problems during your trip, Skytours is on hand to assist! Any date or city deviations on your ticket (from the standard camp fair trip itinerary) may incur a surcharge, which will be invoiced directly to camp (ie- traveling earlier/staying later; including additional cities, etc). You must attend every fair included on your selected trip for your flights to be covered by CCUSA. If you do not wish to attend each fair on a particular trip, you should select the Booth Only option and will need to provide your own international travel, accommodation, etc. Flights must be booked directly with Skytours (Michael Eklof) no later than November 16, 2017. Flights booked after this date will incur a surcharge which will be invoiced directly to camp. You must confirm your flight with Skytours within 24 hours of receiving the flight itinerary from them. Any fare increases after 24 hours will be invoiced directly to camp. International flights for the Down Under camp fairs are not included. Camps are welcome to book these international flights with Skytours or independently. The internal flights between cities on the Down Under camp fairs are included in your trip fee.

2018 Camp Fair Country Information Australia Ages 18-27+. Australian applicants are young people, who either have been in the workforce for a few years; are taking a gap year between high school and university; or have just graduated University. They are looking for a new adventure and to experience working at a summer camp. in America. Australians are actively involved in Waterfront, Outdoor Adventure Activities, and Land Sports. Some applicants may have existing qualifications, while others are willing to participate in camp-sponsored training courses. Other common skills include: Horseback Riding, Dance, Drama, Music and Fitness. Australians are wellrounded and have great experience with children, making them good candidates for Activity and General Counselor positions. Open most participants are available from May through September. Melbourne Home of the Australian Open, Melbourne is an energetic center of business and is often compared to cities like Boston and San Francisco. Sydney From its Harbor Bridge to the famous Opera House, Sydney is a cultural mecca that captures the hearts of tourists and locals alike. Brisbane Brisbane is the bustling heart of Queensland, Australia s second-largest state. Located on Australia s east coast, Brisbane boasts beautiful beaches and is a short ride away from Surfers Paradise. Czech Republic/Slovakia Ages 18-25. Applicants either are university students, or have just finished high school. Czech and Slovak applicants can be support staff or counselors. You will be able to hire both at our Camp Fairs. Support staff have practical work experience in the areas of Housekeeping, Cooking, Maintenance and Laundry. Camp Counselor skills include Land Sports, Swimming, Horseback Riding, Fencing, Canoeing, Arts & Crafts, Rock Climbing and Outdoor Leadership. Most participants are available from early to mid-june through September. Full of old-world charm, Prague is home to the Charles Bridge, built in the 14th century, and the gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, both easily recognizable in the city skyline. There will also be applicants from Slovakia attending the fair in Prague.
Hungary Ages 18-25. Almost all applicants have completed at least one year of university. Hungarian applicants can be support staff or counselors. You will be able to hire both at our Camp Fairs. Support staff have experience in a variety of areas, including Cooking, Food Service, Housekeeping and Maintenance. Camp counselor skills including Land Sports, Swimming, Horseback Riding and Fencing. Most participants are available from early June to early September. With an abundance of concert halls, churches and museums, Budapest prides itself on its sense of history and tradition, while at the same time highlighting its more contemporary culture. From the Hungarian Parliament Building to the Buda Palace, Budapest s architecture surrounding the winding Danube River provides a scenic backdrop in one of Europe s most beautiful cities. Mexico Ages 18 24. The majority of Mexican participants are university students. Mexican applicants can be support staff or counselors. You will be able to hire both at our Camp Fairs. Support staff have experience mostly in kitchen skills which include Cooking, Cleaning, and Food Prep. Camp Counselor skills are varied and include experience in Soccer, Dance, and Arts & Crafts such as Jewelry Making, Ceramics and Painting. Mexican participants tend to be flexible, social and hardworking with a great attitude. Almost all Mexican participants are available from late May to around August 10th or 15th due to school break dates. Puebla is located in a broad, high valley about 60 miles southeast of Mexico City. Although modern Puebla is highly industrialized, its historic downtown remains a Spanish-colonial treasure filled with elegant 17th and 18th century European architecture and art. Applicants from Mexico City, Cuernevaca and Oxaca will be bussed to this fair by CCUSA.
New Zealand Ages 18-27+. New Zealand applicants are young people, who either have been in the workforce for a few years; are taking a gap year between high school and university; or have just graduated University. They are looking for a new adventure and to experience working at a summer camp. New Zealanders generally have strong waterfront skills with a particular emphasis on Swimming, Sailing, or Waterskiing. They are very active and have experience in areas such as Camping, Ropes, Horseback Riding, and Outdoor Leadership. Additionally, applicants are skilled in areas such as Arts & Crafts, Dance, Drama and Music. Please note that New Zealanders are NOT eligible for support staff roles. Open most participants are available from May through September. Auckland, the City of Sails, is New Zealand s largest city. There are a great variety of cultures that join together to make Auckland a vibrant and lively place. Note: when possible, you may also be able to interview some applicants from other cities in New Zealand via Skype. Netherlands Ages 18-22. Dutch applicants are usually full time university students. The Dutch are counselor applicants. You will not find support staff at this fair. These applicants often have very strong outdoors and sports skills. Many are studying a sports degree at University and we work directly with several sports schools for recruitment in the Netherlands. Most participants are available from early/ mid June through end of August. Amsterdam is the Netherlands capital, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city s 17thcentury Golden Age. Cycling is key to the city s character, and there are 400km of cycle paths.
Poland Ages 18-25. Polish applicants are usually full-time university students. Polish applicants can be support staff and counselors. Both will be at the Camp Fair. Support staff have strong housekeeping, cooking, maintenance and laundry skills. Counselors have strong sports, arts, outdoor and water skills. Most participants are available from mid- June through September. Krakow is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland. A leading centre of academic and cultural life, one of Poland s most important economic hubs. United Kingdom & Rep. of Ireland Ages 18-26+. On the whole, these applicants are either pursuing a university degree or traveling during a gap year between high school and university. You may also find a few Aussies and New Zealanders who have been working in the UK or Ireland and want to go to camp. Participants have a wide range of skills, including Lifeguarding, Camping, Trip Leading, Ropes, Fencing and Horseback Riding. Furthermore, we recruit staff from all over the UK & Ireland, so you ll find a vast array of cultures, interests, and beliefs. Please note: While there are some support staff available, the majority of UK & Irish participants will be counselors, and support staff are often comprised of other nationalities traveling or studying in the UK or Ireland. Most participants are available from early to mid-june through August. London A center of culture and history, London has an endless list of attractions, including Big Ben, the Tower Bridge, and St. Paul s Cathedral. Applicants from all over mid to lower England and Wales will attend this event. Leeds Drawing from the six largest universities in the UK, Leeds is a hub of activity and attracts more participants than any of the other UK Camp Fairs. You will also be able to meet staff from Scotland who travel down for this event as well as staff from all over the north of England. Dublin Capital of the Republic of Ireland, Dublin lays on Ireland s east coast at the mouth of the River Liffey. Following the partition of Ireland in 1922, Dublin became the capital of the Irish Free State, later renamed Ireland (or Republic of Ireland). Edinburgh Edinburgh is located in southern Scotland and is home to one of the UK s most picturesque royal palaces, perched above the city. The Royal Mile is a historic cobblestoned street running through a city which contains a tremendous amount of history. *Information correct at time of printing.
