The research is clear that children who don t read during the summer can lose up to three months of reading progress and that loss has a cumulative, longterm effect. Consequently, TFCA is offering four Literacy Camps this summer. Each camp will have a unique theme and exciting reading, writing, and speaking opportunities that will engage children and will educationally enrich their summer. Paws With a Book- Campers will be introduced to a variety of animals and animal careers through literature. A veterinarian, dog trainer, and others will join us as we learn about animals.
