AUTOMOBILE RENTAL Automobile Rental Instructions and Reminders All rates shown are valid through December 31, 2013. You must be at least 21 years of age, show a valid driver s license, and provide a credit card in your own name. When calling, identify yourself as one of Jehovah s Witnesses or a visitor to the Watchtower facilities. When parking the vehicle during your rental, remove personal belongings from view (either take them with you or place them in the trunk). Additional qualifications will apply if using a debit card or cash. Call the location you are renting from in advance for the specific qualifications. Vehicle Inspection Checklist Before You Leave the Car Rental Lot Carefully read the Rental Agreement before you sign it. Inspect the vehicle for any damage, or you may be liable for pre-existing damages when you return the vehicle. Look for chips or cracks in the glass, dents, missing items (hubcaps, gas caps, etc.). Report any damage to the representative before you leave, having the items noted on your Rental Agreement. ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR The Watchtower corporate ID number for Enterprise rentals is: FFC1700. If you are not purchasing CDW or DW insurance be sure to use a credit card that offers CDW/DW insurance. Renter s personal automobile insurance, if transferable, may cover in full. Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP) provides coverage up to $1,000,000.00 in the event of a claim. When traveling outside the tri-state area, or when renting a Minivan, vehicle mileage will be capped at 200 free miles per day, and $.20 each additional mile thereafter. The 200 free miles per day are cumulative, that is, a 7-day rental will allow 1,400 miles total, etc. Free of charge, Enterprise will pick up renters and bring them to the rental location and provide a drop-off service after the rental vehicle is returned, within the region of each rental location. It is preferred that rented vehicles be returned to the location from which they were rented, although Enterprise will allow vehicles to be returned to a different rental location in the same region without a drop charge. Weekend rentals in Manhattan are not eligible for corporate rates (Thursday noon to Sunday noon). An advance reservation is required. A limited number of vehicles are available at this rate. No midweek or one-day rental surcharges. Rates apply to all major Canadian airport locations and U.S. locations. (Limited U.S. seasonal locations substitute 10% discount.) Corporate rates do not include commissions, taxes, refueling, other optional items or applicable fees, including, but not limited to, airport access fees, airport concession fees, vehicle license fees, consolidated facility fees or charges, or transportation charges. The terms and conditions of the Thrifty standard rental agreement apply at time of rental, unless otherwise stated herein. Frequent Flyer miles may be subject to a frequent flyer surcharge collected at time of rental. Authorized one-way charges will apply. Canada rentals only US border crossings require prior written approval of rental location. Provincial liability minimums apply to all insurance as required by the respected laws of the province. Terms of agreement are only valid on car types listed above and all benefits are void if rental agreement is violated. Nationwide agreement does not supersede local agreement. *This benefit does not apply to rental transactions at rates other than the corporate rate. **Uninsured or underinsured motorist or motor vehicle coverage or supplemental no fault or any other optional coverage is not provided, unless such coverage is imposed by the law of the state in which the vehicle is rented in spite of the terms of the rental agreement in which case they shall be, if imposed, in the minimum limits required by applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, Thrifty, Company and the renter reject the inclusion of any such coverage. Any protection against third-party automobile liability claims provided to renters under this Agreement will be provided under a certificate of self-insurance, an insurance policy, and/or an indemnification, as Thrifty chooses.
