SHENANDOAH AREA COUNCIL BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA OFF-SEASON CAMPING AT CAMP ROCK ENON Reservations Online at: www.sac-bsa.org/offseason FACILITIES Camp Rock Enon operates weeklong resident camps during the summer. Many of our facilities are constructed for resident camp and special Council event usage only. We welcome your use of our cabins, shelters, and campsite areas for camping during the fall, winter and spring months. Camping at Camp Rock Enon is primitive; do not expect the luxuries of a summer home. Most cabins are one room log or wood structures equipped with a wood burning stove or fireplace. Each campsite has a campfire circle. A supply of firewood for your campsite and/or cabin is available for purchase in advance when you register.. If during your stay you need to purchase additional firewood, contact the camp master on duty. Drinkable water is typically available in each campsite from April thru October. During the months of November thru March drinkable water may be obtained at Garrabrandt Lodge, see the Camp master on duty (THIS IS WEATHER DEPENDENT AT TIMES WE HAVE FROZEN PIPES AND WATER CANNOT BE GUARANTEED. WHEN IN DOUBT, A SCOUT IS PREPARED. BRING WATER!). Each campsite has a pit latrine, all of which are within walking distance from the cabins. RESERVATIONS/FEES Camp Rock Enon is available for weekend use by units September 1 st thru May 31 st only. From June 1 st to August 30 th camp is in summer camp mode and is not available for individual unit camping. During the Off-Season, the Council sponsors several weekend activities at Camp Rock Enon, which take priority over any other reservations. Please refer to the council website for the most current calendar dates. The registrar will also be able to assist you. Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis and need to be made at least 1 week in advance. No telephone reservations will be accepted. All reservations should be made on the online reservation system at www.sac-bsa.org/offseason. REFUND POLICY: All individual refunds are to be requested in writing, and can be sent by mail, email, or fax. Refund requests made more than one week after an event will NOT be considered. This General Refund Policy applies to all camps, events and activities of the Shenandoah Area Council, BSA unless otherwise stated. (Example Summer Resident Camp) Refunds requested due to medical reasons and other unforeseen circumstances will be reviewed on an individual basis and may require additional documentation. Refund policies for National and Regional BSA events may differ. Pro-Rated Refund Schedule: 30 days or more Full Refund, less cancellation fee. 15-29 days 75% Refund, less cancellation fee. 8-14 days 50% Refund, less cancellation fee. 13-1 days No Refund If you know you are not coming, please cancel your reservation as soon as possible.
