Market confidence has led to a surge in infrastructure investment New Developments Malaysia is expected to improve its ranking and performance as new infrastructure developments come on stream i.e. airports, hotels, venues. In some sectors such as exhibitions there is pent up demand due to lack of capacity. The KLIA2, opening in 2014 will be the largest low cost carrier terminal in the world with an annual capacity of 45 million passengers. The terminal is located near to the existing KLIA terminal in Kuala Lumpur. New venue infrastructure includes: Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur Kuala Lumpur Redevelopment plans to add an extra 12,500 sqm of space mainly dedicated to exhibitions.
