They ll explore their world in small groups through age and developmentally appropriate activities. Special themes guide weekly activities and field trips as kids explore zoos, museums and parks. A low child to YMCA staff ratio ensures responsible and secure supervision at all times. Choose from 3, 4- or 5-day options: $127 3 days/wk. $151 4 days/wk. $183 5 days/wk. June 12-16 A FLIP FLOP SUMMER It s a glorious summer and we re up for anything! Each day will be a different chance to express your individual summer style. Experience time travel through activities and field trips from decades dating back to the 50 s. July 24-28 NEED FOR SPEED On Your Mark. Get Set. GO! Zoom through a week of obstacle courses, mazes and relay races. There is no stopping the excitement and fun. July 31-August 4 CAMP IS COOL Get outdoors and enjoy sizzling summer. Make new friends and participate in cool new adventures. Take part in outdoor games and learn about the environment through field trips and fun. August 7-11 AROUND THE WORLD IN 5 DAYS A voyage awaits you! We ll explore different cultures and the world around us through games, songs, activities and field trips. Not only are the kids entertained and engaged, they re learning new things, developing a healthy lifestyle and making new friends. Few environments are as distinctive and vibrant as camp. Here, kids become a community as they learn independence and group contribution at the same time. YMCA Camp Manitou features: Outdoor Aquatics Center with heated in-ground pool and slide, splash pad, and picnic area Bath House with showers, lockers, and 2 family changing rooms High Ropes Village & Climbing Walls (rent for your next group outing or birthday party) 2 Covered Picnic Shelters to reserve for your special occasion The whole family can have a splashing good time at our outdoor Aquatics Center! WEE BACKPACKERS Ages 4 & 5 years old, including campers entering Kindergarten in fall, 2017 Member Participants: $200/week Non-Member Program Participant: $225/week Weeks of June 12 August 21* *No program July 3 4, fee prorated Start your child s appreciation of the great outdoors by enrolling him or her in Wee Backpackers! From the moment campers arrive each day, counselors guide them through traditional camp experiences including hiking, nature study, swimming, group games, and arts and crafts. They have opportunities to sing songs, tell stories, and meet new friends. All activities are geared to show your preschool camper the wonders of nature. Wee Backpackers is carried out in small groups under the watchful eye of counselors trained to meet the needs of young campers. The Wee Backpacker program maintains a low staff to child ratio. WEE BACKPACKERS WATER SAFETY Ages 4 & 5 years old, including campers entering Kindergarten in fall, 2017 Member Participants: $215/week Non-Member Program Participant: $240/week Weeks of June 19, June 26, July 10, July 24 and August 7 All of the wonderful outdoor adventures in the Wee Backpacker program plus water safety lessons! Each day Wee Bees will have a 40-minute progressive water safety lesson at the Camp Manitou outdoor pool. Little swimmers will also have time to play in our splash deck. The remainder of the day will be spent enjoying traditional camp activities. TRADITIONAL DAY CAMP Entering grades 1 7 in fall, 2017 Member Participants: $190/week Non-Member Program Participant: $215/week Weeks of June 12 August 21* *No program July 3 4, fee prorated Campers explore hiking through wooded trails, studying the wonders of nature, canoeing along lakeshores, and conquering many challenges under the leadership of well-trained staff. Exciting activities include archery, swimming, nature studies, canoeing, fort building, gaga ball, camp crafts, cookouts and group games! SUMMER EXTRAVAGANZA Ages 4 years to those entering grade 7 in fall, 2017 Member Participants: $190/week Non-Member Program Participant: $215/week Week of August 28 This is the last chance to enjoy the great outdoors at camp before summer ends! We ve combined all of our camp s highlights into an incredible jam-packed session. Games, canoeing, swimming are all part of the fun. Campers search for silver and gold in the Gold Rush, then cash in their treasure in exchange for fun surprises! 9

Beautiful Interstate Park is our campsite for one night. We ll enjoy the park s rolling, wooded hills and the banks of the St. Croix River. Campers will spend a half-day at Trollhaugen Zip Line Adventures soaring from station to station. Then we ll experience a night sleeping at YMCA Camp Icaghowan. Here we will canoe and participate in camp activities. Truly a memory-making getaway!
